Agree, never put all your eggs in one basket. So, don't invest in one platform only. When, it cannot benefit us, we still have another investment.

In my opinion, Investing is strategically. I think It is not how much but when you can get a best time to invest.

I also try to keep my Altcoins until better times. I'm sad that many projects die while their price is lower than ICO for 50-70%, that's not funny at all.
