There is a very chance or you can say a prediction, that BTC will surpass the previous top, $60k and hit the $100k in the 2022 or 2023, but if it dumped the price then maybe it will stop around $5000.

I think it is pretty undecided at the moment. So much so that some people think the correction will last the whole year, and others believe it will hit 100k this year. Personally, I intend to just wait and see.

The highest value of bitcoin reached in the last two years was in 2017 which touched around 20K mark, and fell down after that. And now in 2021 a new record has been set.
