💥 Walmart plans to enter the metaverse, create its own cryptocurrency and NFT collection. The major retailer filed late last month for several trademarks that signal its intent to produce and sell virtual goods, including electronics, home decorations, toys, and sporting goods.

👀 A separate filing says the company will offer virtual currency and NFTs.
