The notable impact of cryptocurrencies at the current Beijing Winter Olympics shows that the role of cryptocurrencies in the financial sector is growing around the world. What is so clear is that no government even if it can be the most powerful on Earth can eventually stop the rise of cryptocurrency. Right now in Canada, the government of Trudeau is planning to do something with people who are using Bitcoin to support the truckers protesting the mandates. As many politicians in power are toying the idea of dictatorial power and tyranny, the more we should be holding on to cryptocurrency as our fundamental right.
