As I read the article at the cointelegraph.com I would agreed that cryptocurrency is not a criminal on those who hold some of the crypto's or altcoins. However those who have the bad intention to use it in some illegal purposes are the one who is a real criminal this can be a whale holders of the coins.

There was never a time crypto is seen as a criminal, except if some bad actors decide to use it for criminal activities. At certain times few years ago, many notable individuals and organizations had concluded that crypto is bad; it is a ponsi scheme, it is used for criminal activities etc but today some of these statement made earlier has suddenly changed, we now see or hear some of these individuals are making reverse statement in favour of crypto(Bitcoin). Many people only want to criticize something without having any ideal, and some criticize because of hatreds while some want attention from the public.
