FDIC 前主席称美联储应严肃考虑发行央行数字货币

美国联邦存款保险公司  FDIC 前主席 Sheila Bair 近日在雅虎财经发表专栏文章表示，她认为美联储需要严肃考虑发行央行数字货币 CBDC。她表示：「过去 10 年有充分证据显示现有的货币工具不足以刺激广义的经济增长。超级富豪身价暴涨，而中产阶级艰难度日。」她排除了比特币取代现有货币的可能性，称：「中本聪先生，很不幸，比特币无法担任支付工具。」
