The next big thing in crypto - your opinions?

Hey guys 
so with the crypto market being what it is right now, I wanted to get your views on what’s coming up in the crypto sphere in terms of new and exciting projects? I try to stay up to date and read a lot but I think it’s always nice to get into the subject with like minded people. Obviously, there are many “prophecies” out there what will be the next big thing, all with more or less valid arguments, including people just trying to market their own currencies to get people to invest I suppose. But yeah, I’d like to hear your forecast, have you come across promising ideas no one knows about?

In my own opinion, I think the "To Earn" space is the next big thing. It all starts with play-to-earn that began with the boom of Axie Infinity that leads to a tremendous growth of other P2E games in the space. Then here comes move-to-earn (P2E) that began with STEPN, and there will be other "To Earn" projects such as learn-to-earn, watch-to-earn, sleep-to-earn, etc.

Then here comes move-to-earn (P2E) that began with STEPN, and there will be other "To Earn" projects such as learn-to-earn, watch-to-earn, sleep-to-earn, etc.

But I think the trend of these games you mentioned in the above is not that hot  as before compared at the present time now.
Therefore, and the thing that is still the big thing for us to earn in the future is to buy coins where they have a good development and potentials to increase in the near future. Though, I agreed Learn to earn, watch to earn and sleep to earn, this is a good things to apply.

I can not look into the future - unfortunately, otherwise I would already be rich haha but I have already read and learned a lot in recent months. Of course you also need a lucky hand. So it's hard to say what will be the next big thing, but gamechangers certainly exist.
I really like methods that stand out from Bitcoin and co. and think they are really interesting. So no more proof of work, but proof of personhood like Idena for example. There's a democratic approach and everyone gets the same amount, if you know what I mean. I think in a world like we find today, that's a good approach. :-)
Of course, it's hard to say how the whole thing will develop, but you don't have to invest a huge sum right away, but you can do some “tests” with smaller amounts of money as well.

It is hardly worth now to name projects that, in our opinion, are promising for growth. Usually in such cases, the participants of the forum have doubts about the impartiality of such an opinion. Indeed, in such a case, they often name a project in the development of which this person is interested for some reason. This will look especially unpredictable during the current deep period of the bear market. During such periods, it is very unpredictable to appear on the cryptocurrency market even with very good ideas. Due to various objective and subjective reasons, even the best projects during the bear period often do not find even minimal investment support.

Crypto is the big thing right now, as BTC becomes one of the great assets of the world. However, I look forward to the future and value of blockchain technology to the world more than crypto. Crypto is only a financial tool, and blockchain is a tool of all fields in the future.

Haha nothing wrong with that in my opinion, as long as you make it transparent. Thanks for your honesty and your input! It sounds interesting, though I must say I’m not sure I fully understand the idea of utility tokens or at least how they differ from other crypto currencies. This one will be for protection of personal data, yes? That does certainly sound interesting and like it has potential. I feel like these kind of values – privacy, democracy, sustainability – will be much more important in the future, in the crypto scene as well as anywhere else.

Wow that’s fascinating, hadn’t heard of that before. Have you been playing Axie Infinity for long?

Neither can I, but I like to think up different scenarios and especially talk about it with likeminded souls Proof of personhood also sounds good, kind of aligns with the values I mentioned before.

May I respectfully disagree? It’s true that the market isn’t great now, and yes, oftentimes people tend to push their own projects, but I still find it important to talk about it, list up pros and cons and keep the conversation going. Ideally, like @ zooboomafoo1234 did, stating honestly when you are personally involved in something.

The next big thing is currently happening. The world is shaken and some of crypto people are now crumbling by this big market crash to the bottom below $20k per Btc. As we know the motion is like a domino effect everything will follow wherever the tempo.

After the dip....
For sure the next Big thing is the pumping momentum. We don't know the exact time but yes it will happen soon or after 2 years from now.

I also think it's good when you exchange information and thus come across new coins and possibly find the so called gamechanger :-D otherwise you should also read a lot, preferably also smaller blogs where cryptocurrencies are presented. I just came across this proof of personhood procedure and then also searched for a few coins... as I said, I find it very exciting and am curious how this procedure will develop in the future.

each country clearly has very different regulations and cannot be intervened by any country, so when it comes to regulation, it will be returned to the country that has an interest in it. obviously every country will provide regulations that will not harm their own country by recognizing the existence of crypto. but in principle, almost all countries that have developed are certain that there are no obstacles that are very detrimental to the development of crypto itself.

agreed, crypto is big thing now and many investors aready invested in crypto currency.
Bitcoin and also top 10 coins are the best choice for investment.
