I doubt if there could be the best altcoins as per ratings this year 2018 because the cryptos market has been constantly fluctuating and coinmarketcap rating has also been up and down. I think the best coin this year 2018 could be decided by vote in my opinion.

Could you stop believing that 'coz there wasn't be bitcoin alternative. Once there should have I think there will have confusion of altcoins and the value. Bitcoin won't be chance it will remain as bitcoin. I think whatsoever the obstacles bitcoin will survive.

Agreed. Fancy Litecoin in particular, can see it making big moves over the next 6-12 months. Hoping to see Bitcoin's marketshare diluted further so that the market doesn't rise and fall purely based on it's movements, but that's a while away yet.

To be very honest, I feel there are SO SO many options that one can pick out but we just need to ensure we get it working after we have fully figured out the concept and analysis the thing well. Purely from an investment standpoint MCan Coin [nofollow] will be the best alternative to Bitcoin as the parent company is $60 million dollars and growth is expected to be 10x in 3 years.
