סיטיגרופ, ענקית פיננסים מניו יורק, מעוניינת לכלול מומחים בצוות הביטקין שיצרה כדי להילחם בהלבנת הון (AML).

החברה מעוניינת למלא תפקידי סגן נשיא וסגן נשיא בכיר לבדיקת עסקאות הלבנת הון הנעשות באמצעות Bitcoin וקרנות הצפנה אחרות ולהעריך את הסיכונים בעסקאות אלו.

כדי להיות זכאי לתפקיד סגן נשיא בכיר, סיטיגרופ נדרשת להיות "בקיאות בכסף קריפט וביטקוין".

עוד דבר החברה מצפה מ המועמדים לתפקידים אלה היא מה שנקרא Bitcoin מקצוענות תעודת. זה לא הכרחי כדי לקבל אישור כדי להחיל על עמדות, אבל ברור כי אנשים מוסמכים נוטים יותר לנקוט עמדה.
