2 years or 3 years may be considered too long . Because the primary thing we have to consider is if those coins we're holding are gonna survive. If we choose coins that are very solid and promising as a project, maybe we will minimize the risk. But there must be more than one coin.

You are correct but not all altcoins are dying as years passed by especially to those reliable altcoins like ethereum, neo litecoin and dash. They are the best of altcoins, their popularities and foundations grows stronger as years passed by.

Well i don't believe that was a good idea, or maybe only few person has the talent to hold and I think it is not necessary to hold on a couple of year when we can earn a huge amount of profit today, crypto is all about opportunity,anytime there will maybe a opportunity that may come and I think the best thing to do is to always grab that opportunity for good. We don't need to hold for a long time when we can gain at present time,  time is valuable and we need to always grab the opportunity at the moment for good.

retaining altcoins for two-3 years is long sufficient for me and i am no longer that grasping to watch for mooning due to the fact many challenge will die after the pumps and dumps. i will best base on my target earnings and for me long term investment isn't always worthwhile with the current market scenario.

Investing in crypto currency is really good most especially if it is invested in long term and it's proved already by so many investors it's profitability, that the reason why investors are buying more altcoins when the market value of their choosen crypto is too cheap.
