to replace bitcoin is not easy because judging from the price is still too far above the altcoin price I don't think there are coins that can replace bitcoin for a long time

I never thought like that. in my opinion it is impossible if there are other coins that exceed the price of bitcoin. I think "there is no and never existed" price of altcoin can exceed the price of bitcoin. Because the value of all the reference coins is bitcoin.
But on the other side, I think, as for altcoin potentially offset (not exceeding) the price of bitcoin in the future is ETH, BCH.

I don't agree with you due to ethereum will be inflation coins, when it switch to proof of stake the alternatives coins will be higher in the future is ethereum classic ETC due to it combine between ethereum and bitcoin.

At the moment I couldn't see any coin that can defeat bitcoin for the bigger coin now is no other than it is bitcoin. In fact no like bitcoin in the market. Although there are some have potential to be like bitcoin but still bitcoin is different.

Ethereum is going to blow our mind away in the very nearest future. Ethereum has been so stable in spite of bull run on bitcoin. Ethereum ecosystem is also very stable as well! In all the altcoin, Ethereum seem to be the only alt that can stand all by itself.

I don't think that there will be a new coin to replace bitcoin for now as I believe bitcoin will still be leading the cryptomarket. There are still many btc supporters and investors of btc as this will continue to further grow in the coming months to come. Considering if btc will no longer continue, I think next to btc is ETH that may lead in the cryptocurrency if such scenario will take place.
