Good time to buy BTC or altcoin

I'm seeing the BTC value and the altcoin is very low. Is the current time a good time to buy them?
The value of the coin has dropped by more than 40% compared to a few months ago. What happened to the market and why did their value fall so unbelievably?

If I buy at this moment, I think I will go in the direction of long-term investment

Well it is obvious that it is a better time to buy BTC than January 2018.
The market can crash more but of course at the and it will recover.
If you will hold your coins at least for a year i think yes it is a good time.

Bitcoin is the best choice of course because it already build a foundation of trust among the people as the most trusted and most potential for sure earnings in which it doesn't need a commodity just to attract people to invest on this coin. Altcoin is a best choice too just ensure that the coin that you will going to choose is belong to top ranked in which most trusted too like ETH, XRP and EOS because there are some Altcoins that are belong to the crap level so choose well.

Looking at the market today and i think now is still the best time to invest  through buying and holding profitable crypto while the market is too weak.

buying both alt and btc would be good to invest for now that the value is lower than last. so if searching for a exact time now would be great.

It's still a good time to buy, but a few days ago was significantly better.  Nothing is set in stone where BTC is concerned, but it's possible that we'll never see below 7k again as well.  You have to decide if you're willing to risk missing out.

Its definitely one of the best times to buy altcoins, people have really capitulated to hilarious levels this last week... I don't know if this is the absolute bottom but we are sure reaching zones where good coins will move heavily in profit with next alt cycle... stay with us guys and gals, the worst seems to be nearing an end.

The hıgh daily drops seem to have stopped. Small daily movement either way. Perhaps a large move either way ın a few days.

Alt coins are bleeding out so this is the best time to buy them, most of them are at their all time lows or near them.  You risk losing out on the BTC climb, but it's all a balancing act.

I am learning a lot from all these responses. There's always risk but then we'll never know until we'll try out. I will invest as long as the values are still low.

the market for bitcoin is good in which the market price is now  reached to more than $8000  from $5000 last month and its really a good benefits to investors and while bitcoin is soaring the ethereum is left behind to a very low price of $400.
