There's so many things need to achieve by Solana before it can take over ETH. Since even if they are so successful network these days that's not enough reason to surpass ETH. The community and investors is so solid because they know that its not going anywhere just like with those new or even SOL in the market.

But let see what Solana could do in the decade since if they can show more developments like those reasons that can increase the wants of people to buy more of it then maybe that situation will happen. Also if ETH would dump more maybe this is the reason on why old investor might go and choose SOL over that coin.

Agree. Solana has the chance to overtake Ethereum but we don't know when it is. Solana is getting popular, there are many projects that choose Solana network. Most of the projects are meme coin projects, the meme coins are very popular in the current cycle. But there are too many scam meme coins, so people may feel afraid of Solana network. But in the future, maybe there are more fundamental projects in Solana networks.

Solana can actually do it but it's going to be a ridicule to Ethereum foundation for allowing such to happen. The reason why you see that most of this later 2 projects that claim to be faster are practicing how not to be outshine the master. It's young to be like saying Ethereum price is going to pass Bitcoin one day, we all know that's not going to happen.

Yes the both are very strong coins but for now in terms of long term ETH is the one we are mostly sure of, though is not like Solana cannot do well in the long term but judging from the start people will be highly confident in holding ETH than Solana but in terms of the network overtaking ETH it depends if Solana has a low fees in withdrawals because that's a good way to do the overtaking on ETH as there fees are always high, but for now the both are not having a bad market because they're doing well.
