Great performance by the Sri Lankan team. It was beyond imagination that they would do so well with India. Sri Lanka team used only 6 bowlers but only two bowlers took control of the game. Jeffrey Vandersay took 6 wickets for just 33 runs while Charith Asalanka also got 3 wickets. Like the last match, they are able to create pressure against the Indian batsmen and in this match as well. Indian team could not overcome the 240 runs set by Sri Lanka.

Well, at least we saw some progress from the SL team against India because, in the T20 series, SL was very badly defeated by the Indian team. In the last series, their middle order was destroyed and did not show any good performance, but in this ODI match, their middle order also played very well. Now, I think in the other matches, Sri Lanka will give them a tough time because they may have learned from their previous mistakes and weaknesses. Just like in today's match, they scored such a high target, and the other thing is that their bowlers tried their best to restrict the opposition from chasing the target. If they play the other two matches like this, then they would win this ODI series.

A draw in the first ODI and a 32-run win in the next ODI boosted confidence for the Sri Lankan team. Their bowlers have performed brilliantly. As the points in the ODI series are level now, Sri Lanka team will try to perform better against the Indian team in the upcoming match as well. As they lost the T20 series they will definitely try their best to retain their win in this series. We can say based on this ODI series that Sri Lanka team has improved. As they have been able to show their dominance in two consecutive matches.

I think Sri Lanka would have won if there were a few more matches. Their bowling performance has suddenly become so good that it is hard to believe. They don't have any ODI series in recent times, if they had then it would have known how much the Sri Lanka team has improved. Since they have done well in ODI cricket, if they could have participated in an ODI series, we would have got an idea about the performance of their bowlers.

Because we know SiriLankan pitch are completely spin friendly so they properly utilize that point and take thier revenge by whitewashing odi series with Indian team after very very long time.

I don't know if it can be called whitewash since the first one was a tie, and I also don't get why superover wasn't done after it.

As far as I know in cricket, if any match in a series is drawn and all other matches are won by one team, then the opposite team cannot be given the title of whitewash. Because there is a match where the opposing team has managed to prevent their defeat. There is no chance to say whitewash in that series.

Anyway guys today we have a strong fight between united States of American and Netherlands where Ned deliver a decent total which were looking an easy Chase but Netherlands strong bowling lineup get the main key performer Patel on golden duck and thus out of no where make a strong comeback in match and register his vital victory.

If only a few posters are active in this thread I don't think there will be any chance of double posting. @libert19 posts on two different dates so as far as I know there shouldn't be a problem. But thanks to @ZAINmalik75 for reminding. Although there is a lot to discuss in this thread but currently members have little interest. What I see as a  reason for this is that in recent ODI cricket there is no other ODI series this month apart from Ireland and Sri Lanka women's ODI series.

No no I don't mean it and have no intention to report or damage you, but the things is that mostly in Bitcointalk we can't even post two consecutive posts at same thread without any other guy post gap even posted at different dates still moderator will merge it into single post or will be deleted if necessary. So I am not familiar with altcoin talk rules so that why I ask.

Also the purpose for reminding that mistake is that in recent a Bangladeshi guy name learn Bitcoin got baned or some how we can say huge negative karma due a very minor mistake and didn't get any opportunity to make things clear in his defense or apologize for his mistake just like we normally does in Bitcointalk for mistake. Anyway today we have third last game of icc cricket world cup league 2 between Canada and Netherlands, while things were clear from start of the match that it's Gona be Netherlands victory as experience and strength vice they are far better team from Canadian team.

And thus fortunately even due to bad star thier middle order sort out things and scored a decent Target while during target defend thier bowling supremacy done things in thier favor and they won congratulations to them for a vital victory
