Iyer played at place of Kohli in first game and he did well, in next game I hope even if Kohli is fit and is included in playing XI, Iyer should still get his place, Harshit went for plenty in first game at least when Salt was firing, may be he can sit out, India would still have 5 bowlers, so no worries there — Hardik and Shami can start the opening bowling spell.

Virat Kohli has performed several times better in this match than his performance in some recent matches. Now the question is how consistent he is, we cannot verify everything with a few matches. Moreover, if Virat Kohli is in form, then he is always seen as a monster by other teams.
However, Virat Kohli is getting old and his retirement age is also very close, so I think it would be a good idea to develop players like Sheyas Iyer as his replacement.

Pakistan vs New Zealand - 1st ODI

New Zealand lost wickets quickly at the beginning of the match, but the team played well in the next. They were able to set a target of 330 runs. 330 is definitely a good target in ODI cricket. At this stage, it can be said that New Zealand has a good chance of winning. Pakistan has now managed to score 118 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. I was glad to see tri series back tbh, would be nice to see this series repeat every year with rotation of different teams and possibly with better trophy too. They could make something like whoever wins the trophy have to retain it next year by having to compete it against top two teams of odi ranking next year, it'll make it prestigious trophy I like to think.

2nd odi between England and India is going on, England did better than the first odi here as in this one they actually capitalized on the good start they got and have given target of 304 runs.

England could only manage 304 runs in 49.5 overs. It can be said that the team was in a much better position than before after scoring 300 runs. But when India batted, it was obvious that those runs were not enough. India won the 2nd ODI match in 44.3 overs. Due to India's consistent performance, I think they will win every match. There is a possibility that India will win the 3rd ODI match as well.

As expected New Zealand team is doing really good even then their required run rate was  higher than the current run rate on the beginning of this innings but they recovered themselves and having a good innings specially Devon Conway and Kane Williamson

If we compare Pakistan's and South Africa's  performance against New Zealand, I think South Africa will be in a better position. A very simple fact is that Pakistan lost all their wickets for just 252 runs against New Zealand, but South Africa scored 304. But the difference here is that Pakistan's chase failed. But in the next match, some changes can definitely be seen. New Zealand was strong, but it will not be easy for South Africa and Pakistan. There will be big support for Pakistan's side.
