There is a possibility of a good chase in the match. Gujarat Titans have undoubtedly been able to give a big target but Mumbai Indians are also playing accordingly. If Mumbai Indians can bat well for a few more overs then it will definitely not be difficult to win the match. Right now, 89 runs are required from 41 balls which is not difficult but if a few quick wickets can be taken then it will not be difficult to win the match. Mumbai Indians are playing as set batsmen at the moment and Hardik Pandya is just starting to bat. I would say Hardik Pandya's poor performance as well, he could have tried going for boundary at each ball, instead he played really slow — when you have about 3 runs required each ball and you still play defensive shots and eat balls, I don't get it.

(I have never been able to judge bowlers proper, but Hardik may have played as he did due to GT bowlers being good too, but I don't know for sure.)

Yeh not only in club cricket team won tournament title for several times under his captaincy but won two vital international trophy won by indian team under his captaincy too, so no doubt his current individual statics isn't good as he is focusing on leading team and securing several more vital trophy for his team. But we can neglect he has potential to change entire match singlehandedly on his day, and that why he is still in mi even they have many better option
