India vs Australia — 2nd test

Looking at Indian batting lineup I expected much more than 180, Jaiswal-Rahul partnership broke and it was downhill from there, Nitish was good in the end though, wish he had some support.

Now, Australia is batting and they are looking in comfortable position at the moment with just 94 runs behind and 9 wickets in hand.

in case if I say about this match I will say that the top order of Indian batting wasn't play good today and that's why they stopped at a easy score like 180. Like others I will also say that Australia team will be is really lead in the first innings I am thinking about the second  innings if the  Indian batting line up  improve  their self. Before that the match looks like in the hand  of Australia.

India's top order did good, even though Jaiswal got out on first ball of innings, KL Rahul and Gill did well, after this partnership was broken, it was rather quick fall of wickets, no one contributed anything significant except NK Reddy in the lower middle order.

Currently, Australia is measly behind 20 runs with Marnus-Travis at crease, this duo is looking good and Australia is now certain to give good lead.

I don't agree with you, because the top order in the batting line-up is where those players are kept who can make good batting scores. As such, I can't call 37 runs or 31 runs a good run, at least in the Test format.
Although I you saw on the lowers order then Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravichandran Ashwin  total sum will be around of the KL Rahul and Shubman Gill . So that I won't say that their top order played well. Although they are going to the same way in 2nd inning they only 124 run and lose their 5 wicket such a bad performance from the Indian cricket team

Well it's look like indian will have lose thier grip on match because they already lose their five game changing important wicket in very early 24th over which isn't positive indication for them. Because such things will not only execute pressure on them but will raised confidence of opponent team bowlers. Now they only hope for them is pant and reddy which I believe will hardly give a lead of may be 150 or something around which will not be a big trouble for Australian even if they scored 200 which look impossible, still Australian will have upper hand on them until bumrah show his magic and sent thier top and middle order to pavilion at very early stage of Australian last innings

The match has been stumps for today and I was really shocked about their performance that they to only 128 run most worse thing is their  top order batsmen are also facing bad in this condition like the KL rahul got out only in only seven run and the Virat Kohli again did poor batting as he took only 11 run and The Rohit Sharma tooks only 6 run.
Such a bad performance from the indian batting lineup I don't hope for them.

So, no miracles happened and India gets thrashed by Australia. One obvious mistake Indian batters did was playing aggressive, match lasted literally two days, you can say how good did India play in two innings.

I read some posts about India qualifying for WTC final and it's indeed do or die game for India after losing the last test match. The Whitewash against NZ was unbelievable and Indian team put huge question mark on their WTC final chances right then and there.

Yeh just like I explained previous history of Australian in Brisbane gabba stadium they always have good record, also indian batters are out of form but I think they just need a click or short innings to be back in form and make things more spicy, while on the other hand Australian are aware of the importance of that game also it will not only push them forward in series lead but on points table too. So from previous match Australian were ahead and have upper hand but now it will be interesting to watch whome will took dominance against thier opponent in very vital match

Anyway guys first day of third match of Australian vs indian look like about to be abundant because just after 13th over rain intruption stop things and it's look like it's still ongoing as after several hours nothing got changed. No doubt such intruption may push the match toward a draw or can reduce the excitement but when it come importance of match it's really huge for both because it will make sure whome will play the WTC final so let's see how Indian continue things and create trouble for Australian on second day to restrict them on small Target and show thier dominance
