I sent those coins from sinbad to exch.cx

I was worried about them, so I sent them all to exch.cx just a few weeks after it was seized. Exch is probably the best CEX around, and kyc-free. Amazing service.

I sent to Binance a few times, but the coins went from the mixer to my wallet, and only then to the exchange. Later I saw that some from the same campaign had to provide additional confirmation of the origin of those coins, but they received the campaign payout directly to the exchange wallet.

These were not significant amounts, only a few hundred dollars, so perhaps it was considered negligible. But here, Binance did not do a detailed AML analysis of each deposit, at least they did not go deeper than the last address.

Why didnt you use Mixero instead?
It would be interesting if Mixero could provide service to send monero and get bitcoin directly, for additional fees.
I know this is not exactly mixer but they already work with monero in advanced mixing, so it's kinda supported indirectly.

I was not aware of mixero by that time, 2023.

You can technically do this right now without a mixer:

Go to any exchange such as Exch (as you just mentioned), Tradeogre or another one, sell your BTC for XMR, receive it, send it back to the service again but this time to receive BTC. Then rinse and repeat.

Or you can use some program like UnstoppableSwap if you have too much BTC or XMR that you want to exchange and the sites don't have as much reserves.

Conversion between two different currencies is certainly not a mixing process, but a swap. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad option for mixers if they had it on offer, then they could be considered less illegal in some positions.

a BTC > XMR conversion certainly would enhance privacy, and it could an interesting strategy for mixers in some jurisdictions , where they find regulatory problems

As you know, BTC to XMR conversion or vice versa is not a mixing process. Even if Mixero intends to make this, it should be separate from Mixero's current mixing service, both the website and the service brand. Instead of combining its features with Mixero's existing services, this could confuse the definition of the Mixing service that Mixero currently provides.

You can do that, but sometimes those exchanges don't have enough monero, and it is always good to have more options to choose.
I am not sure if Mixero would be classified as exchange if they start doing this swaps, but they could always created separate page for that, maybe even as subdomain.

Yes, the prizes are generous, a total of $500 for the closest three predictions. In the beginning, I won a prize once, but then there were not many participants, now there is a more significant number. Unfortunately, I'm not particularly lucky with these kinds of games.

I have been participating in the prediction contest for a while but haven't won anything, came very close but not good enough to win but let's hope the luck favors this time.
