Where is the KARMA icon?

I'm a new person here on altcointalks.com, and I don't really know how things work here, but with time I can understand the whole concept of this forum though.
How can I give out karma to other people? I know it is through a quality post, but how can I earn it and give it out? I have been looking for the karma icon on the forum, but I haven't seen any.
Although in this thread, a lot has been explained but some of them did not give me the kind of answers I want to hear.

Hello mate, have you seen Karma in another account? there are karma positive (+) and karma Negative (-) just click the icon to give karma to other people. don't abuse your karma

Though I haven't, but those the KARMA negative means that I can retain back the karma I gave to other people?
Also, those it mean that because I haven't gotten any KARMA that's why I can't find the KARMA+ and KARMA - ?

Op is Baby Steps ranked so he/she will not allowed for sending any + or + karma to anyone. he/she have to up profile rank to get karma icon

No you must have at least Sr Member or Higher  rank to get karma Icon your account still Baby Steps Ranked to increase your rank to  find out Karma icon. thanks

I think just like other forums, this forum also have rules guiding it. The way merit system is working in Bitcointalk, that’s how karma is here. It’s given as a like or appreciation to a post since there is nothing like merit here.

@Princehaydar001 hi and welcome. Karma is just a way to highlight the most active users of the forum. No X amount of karma is needed to rank up or participate in bounties, although having negative karma may cause bounty managers to not allow that user to participate. When a user reaches the rank of Sr. Member they will have the ability to give or take away karma.

I'm also new on this forum but base on my staying and researching in the forum so far  I don't really think you need Karma to participate on bounties all you got to do is to avoid having any negative Karma, just as we have negative trust on Btt which can reduce most of your privilege in the forum. So on the main time just focus on learning more about the forum before thinking of earning Karma.

Sorry global moderator but like him am also confused on the essence and worth of this karma as I don't actually know the value of it in this community. I believe merit was the core point in the Bitcointalk community and also trust level which users and other members regard to a certain level but since my stay here, things are a little confusing but it's natural as am new and I believe with time familiarity of my surroundings must be an option that I must part with.

The +karma/-karma links under each profile avatar are responsible for karma, to thank (+) as well as punish (-) users
Senior members and above have the ability to issue karma. Don't abuse it, otherwise you will have your issuance revoked

• Positive karma is granted to users providing good answers, interesting questions, useful topics and helpful contributions to the forum
• Negative karma is given to users who are misbehaving, breaking the rules, being aggressive or disruptive to the forum

How Karma works:

• Positive Karma will grant bonuses from time to time and shows that you are a contributor to the forum
• Negative Karma reduces your points and you won't be eligible for forum managed bounties and airdrops
• The Paid group Immortals are not influenced by negative karma
• Positive Karma can be exchanged into ALTS - expired

When you will get Positive Karma:
