I think that even the victory over Brentford still doesn’t tell the whole story of the team, mainly because stability remains a problem for United. We shall wait and see whether the team can string consecutive victories together and thus determine regular improvement. Fenerbahçe going to face the challenge against Fenerbahçe and the last match will exhibit whether the team can come back with a better performance or still has something to learn. I even remembered the one that arsenal and Manchester united both participated (In the 2022/23 season if I'm not mistaken). I actually thought that one of the two teams would win it because they where the best candidate as at that time due to their top form, but surprisingly, both of them where knocked out. I guess Sevilla went ahead to win it that season if I remember correctly.

If Tottenham will win this Europa competition they would need to really play very good football because there are other good teams in this competition like galatasaray that were able to win their game today by scoring four goals. Victor Osimhen not on the scoreboard, but there are no worries because we have seen what he can do.

Just as I thought, in the Champions League the competition is indeed very tough, but the winner is usually not far from the team that is considered the favorite to win. For example, when Manchester City won the previous season.

In the European League it is different, even teams that were not previously thought of can actually win. Sevilla is the team with the most titles here, and interestingly they are not the main favorite when they win the title and even in terms of appearance there is actually nothing special about them.

It's halftime already, and surprisingly, Tottenham hasn't cracked it yet. It's still a goalless draw, though they've had a good percentage of the ball possession, but AZ Alkmaar seems to be a good side as well. Tottenham didn't start some key players like Johnson, Kulusevski, Solanke and others, but that shouldn't be a problem, because they really need this win to maintain a fine run in the competition.


As for other games, United took an early lead with a goal from Eriksen, but Fenerbahce hasn't rested till the last minute of the first half as they've tried to level the game, but just couldn't. Not sure if Jose Mourinho would want to lose this game tonight. Next 45mins will be more exciting.

What are you just saying? How does Bayern Munich experience many failures in winning awards? Is it not only last season(2023/2024) that they didn't win the Bundesliga league title, which they have been winning consistently from 2012/2013 till 2022/2023. In case you don't know, Bayern Munich has won the Bundesliga league title 33 times, and Leverkusen, you mentioned of, last season was their first time winning the Bundesliga league title.

However, what prompted the signing of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich was to help the team win the Champions League trophy because it's been long they did that. But that seems it will be a difficult task to achieve, judging by how poor they have performed, losing two of their Champions League matches and winning just one match

I made a good call yesterday, but should've had more trust in Lazio to win. Then again, who knows how things would go down if not for the early red card for Twente (Unnerstall in the 11th minute). Nevertheless, Lazio is now the leader of the table with 9 points, closely followed by Tottenham and Anderlecht, both with the same number of points.
I expect either Lazio or Tottenham (more likely) to win the entire competition unless Man United finally wakes up and starts playing at the expected level.

We've seen quite a lot of red cards in this round, a total of 9 in 18 games.
