It seems like I have too high hopes for Lazio in this match. I hope Lazio succeeds in winning this match just like Inter Milan who also managed to beat Bayern in the UCL yesterday. Today I also favor Man United in the match against Lyon. Even though Man United is so bad in the Premier League. But I still see Man United as a very good team in the Europa League. So I will still hope that Man United will not disappoint me in today's match.

I guess I also overestimated how good Lazio team is, I thought this should be a winnable game for them, after all they won against Atalanta, little did I know that they will fall back to their freaking slumber. Lazio used to be a big name in Europe at this level of competition, losing woefully to a team from Norway without even putting up a fight is obnoxious, to say the least!

Athletic was almost handed a victory against the Rangers and they still could not take it Kudos to the home team for a clean sheet despite playing with ten men for almost the entirety of the match.

It's a dramatic ending but I think it's a satisfying result for Man United and more disappointing for Lyon. I think the home team did not expect MU to play almost on par with them.

When Maresca benched a number of guys in this past weekend game against Brentford, I believed it was because the Europa Conference League was his priority at that point, but seeing how Chelsea have lined up today I wonder why those guys were then rested over the weekend, especially Nicolas Jackson. Hopefully they'll be able to get a win against Legia in the 2nd half, because imo anything other than a win for Chelsea in this game should be considered a disaster.

And they secured the win which simply stands for a good result for them seeing how they have managed to keep things running well in the Europa league like their fellow counterpart in the English premier league which is Manchester united, they also didn't disappoint although a draw wasn't better than Chelsea victory but atleast they have the upper hand now playing at home in old Trafford.

Just when I thought that they had secured the win, Manchester united eventually happened. What a game. Though this draw isn't a bad one for United, but that one goal lead would have given them more confidence to go into the next game (2nd leg). Onana conceding a very floppy freekick is something I'm not happy about, but he is onana, so I can't except much from him. The three games ended in a draw, except the one that was played earlier. Second leg is definitely going to be an interesting one.

I agree that Lazio's game this time is very bad. Not only is their defense very bad, but also in the middle line and especially their front line, not as good as usual. Even with ball possession which is actually not much different, Lazio is very far behind in the number of attacks. They even actually have a stronger attack line, but are really inferior to their opponents. Statistics show that all dominance is in the Bodo.Glimt club, not Lazio, therefore, it is very natural that Lazio lost in this first leg

Wow, the biggest underdog of this stage easily defeated the leader of the group stage. I did not see that coming. It's not just that Bodo/Glimt won, but the fact how easily they dominated Lazio, was a real surprise. Glimt had three times more shots on goal in total and six times more shots on target. Lazio looked like a shadow of itself today.

Three draws in the other games are somewhat understandable, as all those teams are on a similar level. I guess we might see a lot of drama next week.

The Manchester United goalkeeper's response to pressure is very poor, and I think that is why he makes some of these errors that he makes in important games, because he's not really a bad goalkeeper; he has made some very important saves in the past, even before moving to Manchester United, but performing on the world stage at the competitive level consistently is a problem for him. He is one of the major problems of Manchester United, and they will be in a hurry to get rid of him.

In a game where they almost got a win but conceded an equalizer with 1mintue remaining for the game to end is really disappointing. All we can say is that maybe they can do better in second leg and create more chances for goals and score them than Lyon, and also hope Onana don't make silly mistake that would lead to more goals like he did yesterday.

It's difficult to explain how he went from being one of the best goalkeepers in Ajax history to becoming a mediocre player at Manutd, performing like someone who's only playing professional football for the first time. He has made some really unexpected good saves in some games this season, no doubt, but his overall performance has been shit. He's one of the reasons they're in the position they're in right now. Getting rid of De Gea for ONana was one of the biggest downgrades, IMO.

On last night's game; he could have prevented the second goal just as any professional goalie would have - he shouldn't have rebounded such a ball knowing his opponents were all over the box, and he could have done more to prevent the close range chip.  This could be his final season in the starting lineup. Amorim is not happy with him.
