I didn't add the Europa matches as bets to make for this week. However, it is an interesting matchup tonight as Manchester United is leading the way against Lyon by 2 goals in the second half. Frankfurt losing their home game to Tottenham by 0-1, Lazio winning Bodo/Glimt by 1-0(1-2 aggregate).

From what I see, I think Manchester United is advancing to next round, Tottenham is doing the same, Atletico Club will beat Rangers, Bodo will escape being won by Lazio

Yeah, wrong strategy in the second half. The red card on Tolisso is going to be the decider in this match. I don't think Lyon can withstand MU's attacks in one or two extra time to force a penalty shootout. If MU still losses this with that advantage, I don't think the board would be happy.

It's really annoying to see United defending instead of attacking. I don't know why they choose to defend when while attacking, they are doing great. I am disappointed in United because they might lose this match. However, Lyon is currently playing with one man down and this should be an advantage for United to win the game.

Amorim also tried fresher legs on midfield to outrun the seemingly more tired Lyon players but the opposite just happened. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Cherki produced probably the winning goal in this tie. Two goals down and one man down but on the verge of winning, what a response!

I think it's a huge blunder on the part of Amorim after the end of the first half when they switched to a more defensive strategy in the second half. That gave Lyon all the space they needed to force extra time. Another wrong call by the manager was probably taking the attackers out. I'm not often critical of him but I think this defeat was mostly his fault.

This match was filled with some many twists and turns, when Man United were leading it felt like it was going to be a walk in the park, but Lyon then equalized and took a 2 goal lead while down to 10 men, however, there was a final twist as it was Man United who would win the game 5-4, when the say football is unpredictable, I guess this is a typical example of how unpredictable football can be.

What a dramatic end to the game! Surely this game will be talked about and remembered throughout Manchester United history, also when they mention the Europa competition. This sort of inspirational win at the end of games is the sort that makes teams go on to win competitions.

Manchester United can win this competition if they sustain this momentum.
