To be honest, Real Madrid are doing good but we expect more than that from them. They are quite lucky to have rivals like Atletico Madrid and Girona that aren't that resistant. Otherwise Barcelona this season were very unlucky comparing to the previous season. Imagine Barca performing good then Real Madrid definitely will not be first.
After all a draw against Atletico Madrid shouldn't be a shame but they should reduce points waste as low as possible and focus on maintaining a good gap between them and Girona and Barcelona mainly.

To be honest, when Barcelona and Atlético Madrid were no longer strong competitors, it seemed that LaLiga had been abandoned by its fans, even the audience's interest was directed towards the English Premier League and Serie A. Agree. It was a draw that looked like a defeat due to the timing of Atletico Madrid's goal and Real Madrid's players squandering several clear-cut chances to score and decide the result could have increased the points difference at the top of La Liga.
