I agree with you that Sevilla is not an easy team to beat, maybe if you look at the statistics it looks easy, but statistics also cannot be a guarantee that they will play worse than Barcelona.

It was important to win and they did it, Mbappe and Vini are still the best players when it matters most but how a team consisting of a midfield of Tchouameni, Camavinga, Valverde, and Bellingham play so poorly? Madrid wins the hard way.

Also keep in mind that they are a team that can talk a lot in the European League, now they are only declining but that does not mean they are easy to beat. Barcelona must be really careful when facing Sevilla.

Sevilla is quite strong in Europa league few seasons ago but they are no longer as strong as in the past now. But their performance looked quite good in the last 3 matches in La Liga. They could beat Real Betis, got a draw against Atletico Madrid, and won against Valladolid. They seem improving their performance after Alaves defeated them in matchday 6. So, Barcelona shouldn't underestimate Sevilla. Sevilla is possible to make Barcelona be difficult to win the match. Anyway, the stats in past sometimes has nothing to do with the current performance. I personally prefer to analyze the performance of the team in the last few matches.

Brilliant display from the Spanish side and also the league leaders. They continue to prove to us why they are the league leaders and the possible candidate to win the title. Lewandowski extends his goal tally, as he netted twice today. I really liked that last goal that was scored by Torre because it was a direct free kick that didn't touch any player. It's good to have gavi back. And I also noticed de jong and dani olmo on the bench in today's game, which means they are finally back after few weeks of been away due to injury. Let's hope to see them in action this week in the European competition, and let's not forget that El Clasico is just around the corner.

There will always be bad nights for any team that looked strong on paper. I'm pretty sure you'll see some weeks where Barca will struggle while Real will win convincingly. Again, all that is important right now is to keep up with the leader and then try to overtake if they ever slip up.
