Rayo's performance this season is actually different from previous season performance, which is why Barcelona found it tough to score as many as they used to with other opponents. Barcelona was just lucky to get that penalty kick, and when you look at Rayo's performance against strong teams this season, it was usually a tough game that ended in either draws.
Barcelona is currently leading the table with the same points as Real Madrid, but I hope Barcelona will finish first this time because, despite the difference in points, they were leading second place  with at the start of the season. By now, they ought to be concentrating more on the Champions League than La Liga because we will all assume that they have won the La Liga trophy, but they failed with their poor performance against weak teams.

I've always seen Real Madrid as one of the teams that officials usually favor because of how easily they get awarded penalties in games, and how in some games where they find themselves to be losing, officials go ahead to add a lot of extra time to ensure they give them the time to try and at least recover. It's surprising to see them complaining about an issue that they've been accused of being at the benefiting end.

Now Real Madrid saying they will leave the league, how possible could that be? I doubt.

They are at the second on the table and with time Barcelona will really moves back for them cause seems the 1st position needs to be theirs.

Getting all three points is good but playing collectively in achieving a good results matters a lot because football is about entainment so playing beautiful football is also part of the game Barcelona was poor yesterday in their performance and if they continue like this Madrid is going to over take them again and it will be difficult for Barcelona to come back and to top again because rudigar is coming back from injury that means that madrid defense is getting a boost as the defense line up will be more solid

I'm not impressed with Barca's performance, they can do so much better than that.
Their performance was below their usual standard but in football, every club will have such games and the win is a win, the most important thing is that they get maximum points.
This game will be looked at in a few months as the game that decided the league.
And I agree. Rayo is a good club. One of the most tactically balanced teams in La Liga, they kept biting till the final whistle.

Rayo is a small team compared to a team like Barcelona by all standards and with all due respect to Rayo it's not a team that should not pose any form of threat and challenge to Barcelona the fact is that Barcelona has a very bad game they really struggled to find form and was really poor in front of goal if not of that penalty that lewandoski scored Barcelona will have drawn and the table will have remained the same way that it was Barcelona should improve on their performance moving forward because now that they are toping the league the pressure will be much on them and Barcelona has to live up to expectations staying consistent in their performance and play good and quality football

Yeah, that's what I also see happening. Maybe not appease but at least make it fair for everyone (fans and club). I think officials sometimes try to be too harsh to a team just to appease the fans who thinks they always favor a particular team. You can see that in some comments above.

He should be happy that of not for VAR that ruled out Rayo's goal, the match would have ended in a draw. Barcelona was lucky enough to get all three points from a penalty kick. However, this should be a motivation for Barcelona to keep up with their consistency in order to remain on top of the table.

Yep. There are some media which have reported that Real Madrid complained about the red card got by Bellingham and they planned to exit La Liga.

However, I'm not sure that Real Madrid really exits La Liga. Real Madrid is in Spain, La Liga will be always the best option for them. There are many things to be considered before Real Madrid is serious to exit La Liga. It seems quite complicated if they leave La Liga. Well, I think it is just an expression to describe their disappointment.
