It is confusing and sad to see Girona go from doing well to struggling much. They were at top of league and did not lose for half season but now they are fighting hard not to get kicked out of league. Something is wrong with team.

Even though they sold some players for reasons they had things gotten really bad. It is not just small drop in how they're playing they are very close to being relegated. You are right if they mess up just one game they could end up in relegation zone and if they lose another one they will probably get moved to lower league because of their own mistakes. It is hard to believe this is same Girona team that was in safe 13th place just few months ago. I hope they can figure things out and avoid getting relegated.

Mistakes they are making now probably come from that pressure. Things that happen naturally and without much thought now take effort which can lead to mistakes. You gave great idea that Girona needs to stop remain so afraid of failing and just get back to playing and trying to find that good feeling they had before. Except this just trying to hold their current spot they should focus on enjoying game again. This mental change may help them to start playing better and may their skills shine again.
