Corruption is everywhere. Even in wars, they thrive the more and they don't mind a large population of men dies as long as they got paid from the war mongers whos main goal is not actually to win the war against the bad guys.

While we can demand where our taxes go, they can also demand privacy. They collect those taxes by force I think its fair that people find ways not to oay taxes.

Over the past few years inflation has been increasing all over world and with the start of Ukraine war it has even deteriorated. The food prices have been shooting up and it has increased the cost of living and made life especially of the middle class and poor people miserable. In many countries corrupt politicians and elite business community have been using this situation for their own benefits.

You are right, inflation has always been on the rise as each year passes by. The rate of inflation in the current year usually surpass the previous year and I will agree that  it will continue to happen like that. Although it is worse in some countries compare to other country, in my country the price of things are very expensive, making the cost of lives very hard for the poor and middle class. The price of things increase all the time.

I completely agree with your frustration my friend even if you decided to drop it in the wrong place, lol. The mismanagement of our resources and the government’s failure to address the economic challenges are undeniable. It is even more heartbreaking to see how difficult it has become for families to make feed twice a day while the government appears to have nothing to do about the daily struggles of its people.

What is even more troubling is that we have the potential for growth but the greed from our leaders will continue to be a big hindrance to us. We have all the resources in place but our leaders seems incapable and unwilling to take meaningful , useful action to contribute and initiate our growth. At the end of the day, we are left to rely on our resilience and faith to get through these tough times because the system does not seem to be working for us. Hopefully, one day though, there will be real change and our country's  potential can finally be realized for the benefit of all of us.

In terms of financial capacity, you can operate a small business or develop content from the comfort of your home. We don't need to rely on our country's leaders because they have let us down.

The best way to be self sufficient financially in Nigeria right now is to know your way around the internet, investing online and taking those profits you are making to establish a physical business, but the problem is can everyone make use of the Internet? The answer is no, some are not learned enough to understand how to make use of the internet. investing in crypto or start forex trading might be difficult for them, even some people that are educated still find all these things difficult. The price of petrol in some remote villages now is 3000 Naira for a litre, the economic situation of the country is getting worse everyday, the president and leaders don't seem to care about everything going on they are just occupying those positions to enrich themselves, most citizens of the country are now praying for an outbreak of war since the peaceful protests were of no effect

Freelancing is one of the most profitable online job that is on trend nowadays so yeah I think we have to try that before it becomes so common and crowded. Unfortunately, it won't work for me due to the fact that I have slow internet connections, frequent rotational brownouts and I personally don't have a pc so yeah good luck to me.

Almost all governments make many promises before the polls and give false roadmaps that they will fulfill if they win the polls. But after winning the elections they forget this matter especially those cabinet people under the government. Especially they don't care about selfish and self-centered people. The price of food in my country is increasing day by day, the main reason is that the demand rate has increased but the production of the product is low. On the other hand the population rate of my country is increasing every year. People are filling up the land to build factories and various institutions and houses due to which proper land is not available to produce food. I think the government will face various problems in the future due to not fulfilling its responsibilities properly.

The economic projections of the nation is gradually depreciating whereas the welfares of the masses are no more termed priority while the leaders are consciencelessly feeding fats on the public funds while the masses are crumbling disasterously even while there are revenues enough to ease the massive economic rupt.

The economic situation of the country only gets worse on a daily basis and just like you said the masses are adapting to the hardship but it has gotten to that point where people can no longer endure people are now doing careless things just to make , fraud is now being celebrated and people no longer see it as a crime in Nigeria but if the government doesn't care about it's people what else are they expecting of them? people can no longer afford their needs because the inflation rate is something else, where exactly is Nigeria heading to with all of this going on and what could be the solution

When considering for the cost of living, we have to first look into the way of how reliable our source of income is, because this will determine the cost of living we are going to incur, if we failed to make adequate preparation towards this, then we may not be able to leave up to expectations base on the level of what our income is, that is why its more necessary that we make sure that we uses all these to gauge on what our cost of living could be.

It is very sad that whenever the price of commodities skyrockets due to inflation, it never comes down anymore even if the problem has been solved. In my country inflation this year is very high compared to other years and this is because of bad government that are embezzling the country's funds to enrich only themselves and cause more hardship for the citizens. Many people that were living well before can no longer afford to meet up with their expenses again because as the cost of commodity is increasing, their salaries are stagnant making it difficult for them to live a good life.

This dependence on the government leads to laziness, as people are unwilling to work hard to earn a living and prefer to rely on government support for their daily needs.

I think you're right, the ones who depend on governments often become lazy and they don't put any effort to earn a living for themselves and for their families. People in some countries prefer to work as a government servant and they proudly say that they're working for the government.

I believe that a person should not rely on government to look after his/her daily expenses. A person should be at least self-sufficient enough to earn bread and butter for his family and for himself. Someone who's doing that won't have to worry even if he gets no money from government.

What you are saying is correct; many poor people in different countries always hope for help from their government. Something that is not right to me: instead of stretching a bone to work properly, we will still rely on our government for everything.

Inflation is a big problem around the world, even country like the US fight inflation all the time. It's even the reason why Donald Trump is campaigning against Kamala and Biden administration but it was there in his time when he was in the office and they all are as a result of printing money most of the time, when you print more because you want to meet up with the budget, you will definitely get inflation.

High cost of living is what inflations brings if not managed properly and unfortunately this doesn't comes at ease for the people because the people don't make this calls, it's the government that makes this calls and allow the ordinary citizen to suffer.

Well, inflation has proven to be a global pandemic that has been eating deep into every country’s economy, inflation is affecting every country and this is an unending problem because it gets worse and worse by the day, we are supposed to have gotten used to the effects of inflation by now and rather than complaining, we should rather sort for means to protect ourselves as well as our assets from the effects of inflation. Again, the selfishness and greed of some of our leaders isn’t something that’s new anymore too, that’s why we shouldn’t depend on the government for our survival because we’ll only get disappointed.

As it is currently, the cost of living has tripled from the way it was a few months ago. This got the poor and the rich affected by the cost of living, and they are all complaining about when will the cost of living reduced, and the government feels not about it because everything is being provided for them, they don't know the cost of things in the market, is what their advisors told them they will believe. I believe they will tell them how they are being praised by the masses, which is all lies.

Our cost of living should be what is being made affordable by us, we should not leave above our income expectations, we have to plan our way out in other to make things work for us as we have always wanted, when the cost of living is high, how can we be able to manage to afford a living expenses, this start from how we are going to budget sown our cost for a loving in other to have enough resources for doing other things important in life and to us.

I believe that the cost of living increased and we just need to adapt to it. Due to covid and the current wars the price shoot up and the wages did not mirror it. It will generate more inequality of course, however, I personally believe that there responses/projects in the web3 sector that can help tackle that issue.
