It looks like Bronny improved a bit after the whole "he is not pro" situation. I am still hopeful that this kid isn't some nepotism baby, I mean he kinda is because he became a good basketball player because his dad is Lebron James, but there is a vast difference between "he became good because of his father" and "he sucks but got drafted because of his father", those are very two different things. Nobody expects him to be an all-star, but I honestly expect him to have a 10+ year bench player career. Which is all you can expect from such a late draft anyway, so its not like the drafting him was for nothing, he deserved it with talent, which he got from his father obviously lol.

He will have to make a lot of improvements to really stay in the NBA. He is not even half of what his father has when he entered the league. We might be hard on Bronny, but it is what it is.

And so time can only tell and maybe with his perseverance and hardwork, who knows what the future holds for him. But one thing is for sure, he has his father that will be on him everything and going to help you tip toe his way to the NBA to be one of the best this season.

He doesn't need to make improvements to stay in the NBA. He just needs his father and his power to stay. :D
Kidding aside, that's the reality and I will not be surprised if Bronny will be included in the Lakers' roster just because his father wants to. I mean he got a guaranteed 4-year $8M contract with the Lakers. Something that hasn't happen especially to a player that's drafted 55th. That's ridiculous if you will ask me.

Anyway, I do hope that he will make some improvements, and to start with that, he must stay in the G-league and play there to hone his skills or else, he will not get any playing time if he's on the Lakers and that will affect his overall development.

Let's not take away the hard work and efforts that Bronny James have put into his craft, if there is something that everyone including every NBA analyst and critics have all said in common about Bronny James even while believing that he shouldn't be in the league just yet, they all have said that Bronny James is very humble and hardworking, and as far as I can about any great NBA player out there, the very first recipe to being great is the amount of hard work they dedicate to their personal improvements. Let's all just try to judge Bronny on how better he gets as time progresses and put aside the apparent unique route through which he came into the NBA.

Although I don't know how long LeBron plans to play yet. Maybe he still has enough energy and health to wait for his other son to grow up and push him into the NBA in the same way.

If he continues with the level of hard work they've all been reporting that he puts into the game, then when is father is no longer a NBA player, Bronny should have already had a strong foot in the league by then.

The honest truth that we all know is that, his father's reputation might have paved way for him to get into the league, but that most definitely is never going get him playing minutes if undeserved or merited. To get playing minutes at all, Bronny would have showed that he's capable and deserves to be here, so I believe it's enough with.

I just saw him carrying the United States flag, that is to say he was the flag bearer for U.S. on Olympic Games in Paris. It is absolutely incredible to think that he is playing in the Olympics again. In short, it seems that each NBA season that ends seems like the last, but on the contrary, it seems that he is adding years to avoid retiring...

In this regard, LeBron is a unique case, as his stats have barely changed over the years. Most NBA players his age are either long retired due to injuries and lack of motivation, or get the veteran minimum while sitting on the bench. Yeah, I know he spends a lot of money on his health, but motivation to keep playing basketball is also a big factor in his case.
In principle, I think he can play at least 2-3 more seasons in the same rhythm.

Add popularity on the mix as well. Without that, he will not get paid more than $40M per year.
I mean let's face it. He's one of the greatest basketball NBA players of all time, and he achieved so many things already - so many that no one can comes close to it (including the total career points).

I agree with what you said though that if it's a different player that has the same age as him, teams might give him only the veteran minimum or might not even get one. In Le-GM's case, he's as efficient as other superstars out there that's obviously younger than him, and that's what makes him unique to other players that has the same age as him. He's consistent all throughout his career especially in points. As for him playing, I guess his 2-year contract will be his final one, and after that, it's very sad to say but he might retire at that point.

After breaking the all time scoring record in the NBA this year and probably very close to the end of his career, more so, this most definitely would be the last time he would be performing at the Olympics so it was only right and natural to accord LeBron James with the honor of being the flag bearer for the country, I mean who else could have been the option if not King James himself. He's carried himself very well and has been a good representative of the USA basketball general on and off the court, so it was a well earned privilege for him.

I'm also inclined to think that these Olympics are the last of his career. But at the same time, I don't exclude the possibility that LeBron might still be in good shape even after 4 years, and he could hypothetically take part in the next Olympics. By the way, the next Olympics will be in Los Angeles.

LeBron's longevity in the game have been surreal to be honest, but I strongly doubt LeBron would still be playing in years time, and if by chance he's still playing in the NBA, I don't there will be need for him to be included, because four years the number of developing stars who have increased massively, posterity is the main reason why they have a couple of potential national team leaders in the team right, that the likes of Curry, LeBron and KD would handover the baton to, speaking of Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton and Jason Tatum, these are all potential face of the national team in the next few years, so they were all brought along with the team to learn more from these veterans

The oldest player that played in Olympics in Basketball is Marcelino Huertas at age 41. If Le-GM is still fit and can play basketball still at that time, then he can get that record or oldest basketball player who played in Olympics. Nevertheless, he played amazing against Serbia, and I expect him to play the same all throughout the tournament.

As for his health after 4 years, with how much he's spending on his fitness, I also believe that he can still be in good shape at that time and can still play. Now that's up to Grant Hill and the management if he will still get him if Le-GM wants to participate.

I'm not sure if Lebron will really shoot for that record in Olympics basketball and for sure it's going to be break as there are women that can go and play in the Olympics in their 40's-60's.

So if I'm Lebron just focused on his NBA career, he had the record already, he looks healthy. But we all know that father time is undefeated and sooner or later he will slow down and will have to retire. So just continue to build his legacy and not totally look at the Olympics in the next 4 years.

We can only guess what LeBron's plans are for the next few years and whether he will play at the same level. However, it's worth noting that if he plays 4 more seasons, he will probably be close to reaching the 50k points in his career. In that case, his record will be unattainable, although even his current record is already an unattainable goal for almost all NBA players.

The age is currently catching up and would eventually wear him down sooner rather than later, and I read some article online saying that Lebron might spend just one year or two more max in the NBA, because there is not record left for him to chase in order to certify him as one greatest to ever grace a basketball court, and the article further stated that he's only staying put right now in order to help Bronny solidify he's stay and have a strong foot in the league which can only be easier with the franchise still regarding Lebron James as highly relevant and important for them, and it was concluded that if LeBron should win the championship again, let's say in the span of the next 2 seasons, he'd likely retire and bow out as champion, while Bronny, all things being equal, should by then be getting some minutes too.
