^ Yeah, retiring as a Heat is probably his best choice if he wants more playing time. I doubt he will have as much freedom to operate if he moves to another team. I think he knows that very well since he's been with teams where he's not the main guy like the Wolves and the Sixers.

Overall, I like Butler to stay with the Heat, but it's his choice if he will go to other team just for the sake of money.
We can't really blame him if he chooses to go out, this time though, I will have to agree with you about why players chooses to move to other team, and it's all about the money.
And we can say that there is no loyalty, although there are a couple of players who chooses to remain in a certain team and then retire with them as franchise players. But there could be players leaving because of money and then the chance to win a ring with other teams. And this could be in Butler's mind, I reckon.
There has been a few people that played on a single team all throughout their career.
Duncan, Dirk, Kobe (RIP) are just some of them. Steph might be included if he will retire as a Warrior.
As for the chance to win a ring, there are many superstars who are trying to move to another team for the sake of the ring, but I believe this isn't the case for Butler, because if he really wants to win a title, he will not say "Brooklyn" because we know that the team's rebuilding currently. Him going to the Warriors might happen, but that only if he wants it, but even though Butler will be on Golden State (assuming that he will be traded there), I don't think that they will be a title contender.
I have no hate to these players who're willing to be traded just for the sake of either money or winning a ring and as for Butler, Pat Riley hate him because of his past comments against the Celtics, so I will not be surprised if he really will get traded to another team. The only question is which team.
