The Milwaukee Bucks are currently running the Lakers over, it's not even the end of the 3rd Quarter yet and the Bucks are leading by 23 points, Lebron is just as important for them right now, he was their biggest defensive minded player while super efficient on the offense too. They might just keep dropping down the standings in his absence losing to Brooklyn Nets a couple of day made it obvious already.

LeBron's absence is really affecting the Lakers' results. Although Luka had a phenomenal performance in this game, scoring 45 points, and Reaves also played well, scoring 28, it still wasn't enough to beat the Bucks.
It turns out that the Lakers have already had 3 losses in a row, and they have already slipped to 4th place in the standings.

The Boston Celtics did indeed cover their spread against Miami Heat but in the other game, the Lakers reserve starters led by Austin Reaves are giving the Denver Nuggets a run for their money, it's a 1 point game with, Denver in the lead and there is about 1:30 mins left to play. I really didn't think it would get this close, if the Lakers manage to do get this win, it will probably be one of their best win of the season, imo.

It was very close game, and the Lakers might have a chance to win that game. But it's their inexperience that shows in the last minute of the game as they can't come up with a good play specially in defense.

For the Celtics game against the Heat, they won by double digit, so will take this win.

So the Warriors won tonight against the Knicks. But it was a very close game, lots of trash talking between KAT and Draymond and it seems that Draymond got into his head this time.

Draymond really exposed KAT on this one. Just for context, KAT really is a bad defender, but we can't see it during his stint with the Timberwolves because he has Gobert on his side. Now that he's on the Knicks, most teams are trying to maximize his weakness through driving on the paint and that's what Draymond did on this one hence, getting the win. As for the trashtalk, it's Draymond so... we knew he will do that thing because that's where he excels.

As for the Warriors, they're rolling, and if they will continue to play like this, I will not be surprised if they will clinch the 5th spot or even the 2nd-4th spot since currently, the 2nd-4th are tied with 43 wins. It's only 3.5 games above so they can do it. Let's forget about the Thunder on this one because like last year, they will again get the top spot, but now they're better. Mobley's absence was duly felt by the Cavaliers, both his defensive and offensive was extremely needed today. The Cavaliers after a brilliant first quarter went completely cold for the remaining 3 quarters, their execution offensively was really poor and out of sync, while also being overwhelmed defensively. I guess it was bound to happen at some point, they've played 16 games without defeat, they needed a break.

I'm only going to be a spectator for the OKC vs Milwaukee Bucks, because unlike most of this season I would have backed the OKC Thunder but right now they look to be super shorthanded, as Dort would join Jalen Williams and possibly Aaron Wiggins on the sidelines.

The Lakers snapped their losing streak with a win over the Suns. By the way, their next opponent will be the Spurs, who are severely weakened, and I think it will be an easy win for the Lakers even without LeBron.
As for the Wolves and Warriors, these teams are very close to the Lakers in the standings. However, it's worth noting that the Lakers are ahead of those teams by about 4% in terms of winning percentage. In other words, the Lakers have a couple more games in which they can make mistakes and lose.

And morevso, Lakers also have one of the toughest remaining schedule in the league, they are definitely going to lose a lot of those games, they're going to play Rockets twice (I think), they've also got OKC amongst other tough fixtures remaining, they literally need Lebron back on the court as soon as possible.
