I'm having a hard time deciding who to back for tonight's game between the Bucks and the Lakers, but I decided to trust my instincts. Hehe. I think it will be a low-scoring game that the Bucks will win, but they won't cover the spread.



edit: Damn, i just read an article that Luka wouldn't be playing tonight so my bet above is a bad bet.

Lakers lost the game as expected, too bad for me that New York Knicks couldn't win against a struggling Charlotte Hornets.

I guess I should have just stick to backing the Bucks only to cover the -7.5 handicap, anyways it's a loss after a number of consecutive wins for me.

That will be just my bet for tonight, there's a lot of games though, but most of them could be a trap and maybe not playing their best player again like the Nuggets.

Another matchup I’m interested in is the Cavaliers vs Phoenix Suns but I really can’t take a stand, the Cavaliers have now lost 3 games in row, I don’t know if they’ll be able to snap out of it tonight, even though the Suns are one of the highly inconsistent teams this season.

Well, the Cavaliers are 5 games above the 2nd seeded Boston Celtics so I guess they have the freedom to play their star players on limited minutes in preparation for the playoffs.

On the other hand, every game for the Phoenix Suns is a must win like this one. The Mavericks on the other hand won their game against the Sixers, and if the Suns lost, they would be at 11th spot again. Looking at the remaining games of the Suns, they will be having a hard schedule because on their remaining 11 games, 9 of them are against playoff teams, 1 is against Sacramento and one is against San Antonio Spurs. The Mavericks on the other hand have a better schedule than the Suns because out of the remaining 11 games, 4 of them are against bottom teams.

I want the Suns to get the 10th spot because they deserve it more compared to the Mavericks, but it will be hard for them.

Yeah, tough luck on the Houston Rocket's spread, that was a completely winnable bet, the Rockets were up by 10 points with less than a minute to go, and a needless 3 point shot with about 2-3 seconds on the clock from Adebayo is what ruined it.

For the Cavaliers, I guess that's the beauty of doing your work early in the season, they probably wouldn't lose that eastern top seed spot, so they're pretty much free to explore whatever tweaks and changes they want before the post season. Bettors just need to be careful before placing a bet on them now.

After trailing by as many as 12 points OKC have turned the game around and headed into halftime with a 6-points lead, their defense is showing exactly why it is ranked the best in the league this season, they restricted the Clippers to just 17 points in the 2nd quarter. There is still work to be done for OKC Thunder in the 2nd half if they want to get this W, as they Clippers surely won't go down without a fight.

For me I was able to cash in on the Miami Heat's win over the Charlotte Hornets, the Heat were on a terrible losing streak, and it was only a matter of time to get their acts together if they want a post season campaign, there was a better opponent to wish for during their awful run than the Hornets, so I took the Heat -6.5 @ 1.83

I'm tailing you on the Lakers ML and Boston Celtics ML @ 2.5+ Odds, I'll pass on the NO Pelicans, there are just too many guys (McCollum, Zion and Bruce Brown) out making them no different from the 76ers, meanwhile the 76ers lads might have actually played more games together than the NOP make shift roster that they'd have on the court today.

Boston won with a lot to spare in this game. However, the Lakers unfortunately lost to the Magic. I thought that this is a sure win for them as Luka and Lebron are back in the lineup.

But Banchero and Wagner spoils it again, just like what they did against the Cavs. They played good defense and they shot very well from the outside. Just too bad that those who bet on the Lakers to win in parlay got all REKT.
