Lebron and the Lakers have been eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who will take on the winner between Rockets and Golden State Warriors... Despite the Lakers adding Doncic to their roster in February, I think a lot of people knew their still short of few pieces to be a championship contender, especially a true high caliber center, however, at the same time getting knocked out in the first round is an underachievement from what was expected from this group.

During the regular season, the LeBron-Luka duo's performances looked pretty effective at times. But according to the Lakers' poor playoff performance, this duo was clearly not enough to even make it past the first round. As I see it, the Lakers need one good center and a couple more role players to contend for a title next season.

It was clear during the regular season that this option wasn't going to be sustainable one, Lebron have been the center role a lot, while also being the trying to be best or second scoring option for the Lakers. I really wish the Mark Williams trade wasn't rescinded, I really don't think Gobert would have grabbed 22/24 board against him. Anyways their season is over now, and it's time for the front office to start looking for probable fixes and whatnot.

We can really see their lack of a center in Game 6 because Rudy Gobert scored 27 points mostly on putbacks and also grabbed 24 rebounds. Yeah, I agree that they really need a center if they want to advance in the playoffs next season, and it would be great to see if Jokic ends up moving to the Lakers.

I don't know if Jokic would ever end up in Lakers, and I doubt the possibility of him getting traded anyway... but if just like the Luka Doncic trade something spontaneous sends Jokic to Lakers, and they have Jokic, Doncic and Lebron on their roster, man! I can't imagine what they'll look like, honestly, the only problem they could possibly face would be team chemistry, if they are able to figure that out, they'll be the team to beat, and even the favorite to win the championship from the beginning of the season.

How about GSW trying to close out the Rockets in game 6? It's interesting how Kerr let his main players rest in the third quarter and opting to extend the series. I think this would work in their favor but they're still facing a youthful Rockets team.

For me, this series is 50-50 and whoever got the breaks of the game will as both team has no advantage over the other but personally i want Kawhi Leonard and the Clips to advance so i'll be betting for them tomorrow.

I guess I saw the potential swing coming, the series have changed in the Rockets favor since they stopped letting Warriors mind games get to them.

On the one hand, the Warriors have a lot of experience in the playoffs and can surprise when everyone thinks they are underdogs. On the other hand, the Rockets are still a young and resilient team that has already become a strong team and continues to reach its potential.

Also, they don't have any solution for VanVleet's hot shooting because he's been averaging around 25+ Points in the last 3 games and also has 67% from 3-pt area. Despite Green's inconsistency, they have VanVleet to cover it up.

I believe that experience matters in games like this, but as of this moment, both Curry and Butler have lingering injuries. Curry with his right thumb while Butler on his back. I hope that this will not affect their performance come into Game 7, and I'll watch this one that's for sure.

I'm not so sure I'll be able to catch the first half of the Warriors vs Houston Rockets, especially If I'm able to watch the Cavaliers vs Pacers game 1, I'll most likely be able to watch only one of both games.

During that stretch, I think the experience actually favored the Warriors more because Rockets young guys played and looked extremely nervous, while the Warriors were using the clock and having the vets to their advantage.  I'd say it's probably a needed experience for those guys to grow and come back even stronger next season.

In my opinion, the Rockets still have great potential that they haven't fully realized yet. So yes, I would also expect them to be even stronger next season.
As for the outcome of this series, I agree with you that experience was crucial, not only in game 7 but basically throughout the entire series.
