🌀 UniJoin Stopped Working

I am currently unable to contact UniJoin. It seems their website is now down and their Twitter account has been deleted (or suspended).

Therefore, until the circumstances are clarified, I will rename the thread to “Closed” and delete links leading to the site.

What comes to my mind is that they suspended work like Wasabi did.

Still hope for some positive news but it was my first thought too when I just saw that the website was down a few minutes ago...

I don't think it's a coincidence considering what's happened in recent weeks with Samourai and Wasabi. I hope the UniJoin team finds a way to continue offering the service and as @paid2 says I hope we hear good news soon. Something tells me that "the police of the world" continue doing what they want, trying to eliminate privacy on the Internet.

Today someone created a thread that they recently tried using Unijoin to mix their bitcoin but never got it back after sending it - and when I asked for the url (since they used “few days ago in their post”) it turned out that they made use of a phishing site and not the actual site.

That's something that will continue to happen as long as people don't bother to read a little more or look up information about the mixer they want to use, and also in the face of the inaction of Google and the like when it comes to eliminating fraudulent mixers from their search engines despite having been reported weeks in advance. The union of these things means that many users continue to be scammed.

Yes it is just another phishing scam website.
They have telegram link to some fake unijoin arabic group posted in website footer with only 21 subscribers, there is no way legit service would do that.
And we didn't hear anything from manager who worked with them before, so I would stay away from this new ORG version.

Yes legit services won't have 21 subscribers. I'm happy ppl know it's a scam because the phishing site design's like the proper Unijoin before they disappeared. I hope they won't succeed in scamming more ppl.

I just created a mixing order on unijoin .org. At least as far as I remember how Unijoin worked, this is a perfect copy.
Unfortunately, the deposit address I received is bc1qmeakc2gy4jm8pzhffmg2vrtm6d0928tyx5hhgh and there I see that there are recent deposits, which means that someone didn't recognize the phishing site after all

There's chance that those funds were sent by the site's owner to show that it's legit and people use it for mixing their coins. The scammers try their best to scam innocent users with less awareness. I don't know how domain reporting works but I believe it wasn't reported in a proper way and the reason why it's still active.

The domain is quite new. Judging by Whois database info, only 49 days old. It probably has nothing to do with the original owners of the .io domain and the Unijoin business.
They still haven't attracted enough attention to warrant a suspension of the domain.

Phishing links are usually placed as part of articles about privacy or recommendations using a mixer where reputable mixers with valid links are placed first and the phishing links are added with the tweet using the service due to the low fees.

The address activity goes back more than 60 days so it is likely that the scammer is adding the same address and changing the template (maybe more lazy and directly using CEX address)

If they've sent funds to themself so ppl believe their trades are legit it's going to catch ppl who aren't aware. I'm thinking the same if their domain's reported why's it working ?

The site looks like the original but it's probably a gang of pros using Unijoin's name. If it's a new domain they won't have scammed big but after ppl report losses to domain providers they'll take action.
