Some Mixers support the BTC > XMR > BTC feature to enhance anonymity thanks to Monero. Users of these services want to own BTC, not XMR, because BTC has more potential than a privacy coin, as evidenced by the long-term downward trend of the XMRBTC chart.

Do not mess up mixing coins and trading. Users who use the mixer certainly do not do it to make some trading profit, because these are two completely different functions. Surely no one decides to hold XMR or any coin just because they can convert BTC to XMR through a specific mixer.

If you are already talking about the drop in the value of XMR, there are serious reasons for that, delisting from some large exchanges plus a serious fight with the SEC certainly have a big impact on everything.

It is in the interest of the entire crypto ecosystem that XMR survives everything that happens against it.

Maybe I forgot (or didn't notice before), but it seems to me that MixTum added a new mix mode called Precise Payment. As far as I can see, it is about the possibility to pay someone directly from the mixer - what do you think about this option?

I think it's a great idea! It allows us to pay someone directly while limiting fees (it removes one transaction compared to mixing/receiving of funds + sending to X) and, above all, it prevents the recipient from knowing your BTC address/funds, which I really like, with the certainty that the coins won't be frozen thanks to the way Jambler works. A great way to spend your signature campaign sats if you want to pay for online services, for example

It is certainly a good function, although I did not find anything about how much the fee is in this case. I assume that it is like in the case of sending to two addresses with the choice that in such a transaction we have a "change" address.

That sounds like a good use case for this feature.
I remember some of the old mixers had payment codes and other ways for saving fees with importing private keys to bitcoin wallets.
Mixtum should add more information about fees on Precise Payment Mode page, but I guess it's just their standard fees 4% - 5% + 0.0007 BTC.

This is a new feature that I have never heard of anywhere else.

However,  I don't really get what is really different from adding the payment address as the destination  address in a normal mix. Maybe the change feature? But you could just add a second destination address anyway

Probably 4%-5% + 2x 0.0007 BTC, because there are two deposit addresses in question

The advantage is that one transaction can be in a precise amount, while the rest goes to another address (after service and network fee).

I'm not sure if this is a new feature of MixTum, I thought I knew MixTum has supported it for a long time or maybe I've seen this feature on some Mixer services. This feature is usually used when users want to combine the purpose of transferring the exact amount of BTC and the anonymous feature through MixTum.

I have never used this feature on MixTum because I am usually more interested in the amount of BTC leaving my personal account rather than the exact amount to another my personal account. I think some users will find this MixTum service useful.

I think it's something new, because I honestly can't remember seeing it before. I also think that some users will find something useful in this possibility, although at first it seems that there is not too much difference between classic mix and Precise Payment Mode, but @examplens wrote something about it that could clarify things a little.

In any case, it's good to see something new, which means that "business" is not on autopilot, but that someone is thinking about how to upgrade it.

It's not a new feature, I remember it from at least a year ago. I don't know when it has been present, Mixtum has existed since 2018 and there have certainly been a lot of upgrades in the meantime.
It certainly makes Mixtum more unique compared to other competing services.

It is possible to mix Bitcoin for testing purposes, commission-free, the amount must be exactly 0.001 BTC
Now is a good time for that, because the network fee is also low 8-11 sat/vB

Precise payment has always been a feature offered by Jambler and it was available on quite a number of other affiliated mixers before Mixtum added it, apparently.

Maybe there is a feature to turn each mixing mode on and off.

I imagine the partners each get their own control panel which lets them enable and disable other features too.
