This was on the news since 21st December of this year. 63000 people were affected. There would be many or some that were not known. We all know that Google ads can be used by scammers to locate who would become their victims. It is good to avoid ads generally because they can be used by scammers. Do not click on ads. This is so dishearten and disturbing. Millions of people who work daily to meet their daily needs are been manipulated by those who thinks stealing is the way forward. Just imagine having over 63,000 victims in a space of 10months falling for thesame scams. As long as we use the internet daily, i don't think that this form of scam can be stopped. There can only be effort to reduce the scam rate thereby informing others.
