I'm not a huge fan of Ripple within these past few years because of the fact that the developers are holding a huge chunk of XRP tokens. Also, based on this article: LINK

The top 10 Ripple token holders hold over 39% of the total token supply, and the top 100 wallet holders hold over 72%.

We know that there's more than 40% of the total supply of XRP tokens still not in circulation, but to think that around 22B of the total 57B XRP tokens in circulation are being held by 10 wallets only, it's too centralized for me, and it's prone to market manipulation as these wallets can just sell it at any time they want to. Heck, they might sell it this year during the peak of the bull run.

Will I buy some XRP in the future though? With what's happening with the project right now and despite the fears of centralization, I might allocate a small portion of my portfolio to buy some of XRP tokens during the bear market. It's an established coin at the end of the day and I believe that it's less risky to invest into those type of coins.

I used to ask myself what exactly does XRP investor sees in this coin that they cherish it and trade if most of the time. This coin has never broke its 2018 all time yet at any slight run of the news about XRP condition, people run to the market to open long positions looking bullish as if the coin is the next Bitcoin but it has always been roaming under the previous all time high.

I hope you reach your goal. You hold your XRP XRP will definitely go above $4. Currently, the most talked about coin is XRP coin and people have invested in XRP coin and have kept it for a long time. Unfortunately, I could not hold my XRP till now. I sold my XRP long ago.
