Old coins will decline in popularity when teams don't improve their projects, because now many new coins have good projects. Competition in the crypto world is very tight, if the team doesn't have a good strategy and the marketing team doesn't have a good strategy, the coins will gradually be abandoned. Litecoin is a great coin and I still have it now
I'm concerned that Litecoin is showing signs of technological stagnation and price performance in the crypto market. Litecoin was once considered the Kusama of Bitcoin, as upgrades were often tested on Litecoin before being officially rolled out on Bitcoin. That was Litecoin's best era, and LTC was once considered Digital Silver while BTC is Digital Gold.

Currently, LTC has not seen impressive growth after recovering to $100. The emergence of new projects related to Layer-1, Layer-2, AI, RWA is creating fierce competition for capital flow, investors and users in the market. I'm afraid that with the current situation, LTC will no longer be an attractive investment in this cycle @@

We all know that LTC is also a coin with good potential right. But while others coin where Risijg tremendously LTC where still finding it difficult to keep up. few days back LTC experience a dip from $73.61 to around the price range of $57.71,  but that dip I think it as an opportunity to buy more if you are still holding LTC keep hodl because now is the best time to jump in recently it's price arround the price range of 65.05 so is still a good chance of entring. Because LTC have the potential to hit the price range of one hundred and something Dollar. I know there will be alot of fomo already.

So what do you think?
After the price of LTC dropped from $73.61 to $57.71, and currently trading around $65.05, this could be a really good potential entry opportunity if you believe in LTC for the long term.  The possibility of LTC price reaching $100 may seem realistic, especially if the overall market trend is supportive. If you are positive about LTC and expect its growth in the future, the decision to buy at this price level may be reasonable.  However, it is important to be aware of the risks of market volatility and price changes, and proper risk management should be applied when making investment decisions.

It is true that there is a risk that must be considered here, why invest for a long time if the price does not improve, it is better not to buy too much LTC in my opinion, because if you are looking for short-term profits it will also be difficult, it is better to look for other coins that are more productive, buying LTC with the principle of buy and forget, don't keep hoping that LTC will go up if BTC increases

If LTC's price is so closely tied to BTC's, I think I'd be safer buying BTC instead of taking a risk on LTC. In other words, if I want safety, I'll go with BTC, but if I'm looking for bigger gains, I'd probably choose a different altcoin like SOL, AVAX, TON, BNB, or ARB.

Honestly, LTC isn't as popular as it used to be. A lot of investors don't even know about Litecoin, even if they know about BTC, ETH, DOGE, TON, and SOL. I'm worried that LTC might have a hard time rallying in this bull market, even though it could still bounce back to its average price range.

Why I think litecoin and Polygon(matic) coin are similar performers is because if we take a closer look, even though we try to recover some of the other top level altcoins, there is nothing between these two even though litecoin is much more than polygon matic coin. is in good position.
But unfortunately I invested more than 400 dollars in polygon coins and am in loss in them. But I have faith in Litecoin that even it is having difficulty while recovering in the market it will crosses 100$ dollar easily in the bull season.

Until now I have not seen any more news about Litecoin, in various Telegram channels there has also been no more news so I noticed that the price of Litecoin can be said to be normal and the price is around 132 dollars to 122 dollars and continues to repeat like that.
Meanwhile, Litecoin's all-time high was achieved in 2021 at a price of 387 dollars and that requires 300% more than the current price. I'm not sure that Litecoin can reach an all-time high again in 2025 because there is no hype or FOMO for this Litecoin.  Does anyone have the same thoughts as me about this Litecoin??

I agree with your thoughts about Litecoin. There has not been much news about it lately and people are not talking about it much on Telegram. This means that not many people are excited about Litecoin right now. As result  price of Litecoin has been staying around same going up and down between $122 and $132. Litecoin's price was once very high at $387 in 2021 but now it would need to go up a lot to get back to that price. Since there is no big excitement or rush to buy Litecoin it is hard to say if it will reach its old high price again by 2025 or not.

I always look for references to that coin from the channel information, maybe others are also looking for the same from Atom research and Rose Signal because I see their subscribers are up to hundreds of thousands more.
From the channel information, there is no related information about Litecoin in the past few weeks and this proves that Litecoin seems to be less in demand by the community.

As result  price of Litecoin has been staying around same going up and down between $122 and $132. It seems like you are looking forward to seeing the rise of LiteCoin price as I am also looking forward to seeing Litecoin reach a new all time high.

I think Litecoin has been in a spiral for some time now, precisely since Charlie Lee sold all his coins. Since that time (although I haven't looked for information about Litecoin in a while) there has been no news or updates. Litecoin is still alive because it is an "old" currency with several use cases, and also because it is used for different businesses, so it rises and falls depending on the market, but it does not stand out above other projects on its own merits or by new developments. After these years I believe that Litecoin “will always be there”, but it will not have the recognition it once had.

Re: What do you think

I think Litecoin has been in a spiral for some time now, precisely since Charlie Lee sold all his coins. Since that time (although I haven't looked for information about Litecoin in a while) there has been no news or updates. Litecoin is still alive because it is an "old" currency with several use cases, and also because it is used for different businesses, so it rises and falls depending on the market, but it does not stand out above other projects on its own merits or by new developments. After these years I believe that Litecoin “will always be there”, but it will not have the recognition it once had.

Actually thats a good point about Charlie selling his coins, Litecoin hasnt recovered from that '''event'''.
I would like to think that a decentralised coin like LTC was bigger that one person but it may be the case that it isnt ?

And you right it may not have the visibility of other coins, maybe a Spot Litecoin ETF would bring it into the limelight of more people?

It's a shame that Charlie Lee sold all his Litecoin, even though he is the CEO of a famous coin, Litecoin. I don't know what was on Charlie Lee's mind, but if I were Charlie Lee and created Litecoin, maybe I would continue to develop Litecoin and continue my career in cryptocurrency because I prefer something digital like cryptocurrency.

I understand what you mean and I also think that Litecoin is my guess from the beginning is a coin that has been circulating in the market for a long time and is in the top 50 coinmarketcap. As far as I know, reaching 50 Coinmarketcap is very difficult because it requires a lot of money in circulation and Litecoin has proven that since 2013 until now it is still surviving.

it used to be number 3 on coinmarketcap so #50 is dissapointing. There are so many more options for people ever since Charlie sold his coins and ERC tokens became a thing. Question is will it gain more favour in the future?

If it used to be in the top 3 on Coinmarketcap, it might be because Litecoin was created when Bitcoin was starting to be known in 2013 and Charlie Lee took the initiative to create Litecoin.

There are so many more options for people ever since Charlie sold his coins and ERC tokens became a thing.
This seems like the beginning of the downfall of Litecoin, Damnnn.

Question is will it gain more favour in the future?
I can't predict this but I just assume that Litecoin will likely continue to be stable following its marketcap from Bitcoin or keeping its distance and not dropping from the Coinmarketcap ranking of 50.

Well the appealing things about Litecoin for me is that it was the first fork of Bitcoin so it has the limited supply and decentralisation elements.

Personally, I dont think there is going to be a DOWNFALL as such, it still has all the same elements it did when it was #3 it even has extra upgrades, its still current, its still being developed and used but from a speculative industry like the altcoin market it doesnt appeal to those looking to get rich quick. Look at all the crypto between ETH and Litecoin in #22 spot on CMC

with the exception of Solana, BNB and BCH everything is priced at less than $50, most less than $15, and almost everything listed after Litecoin is priced sub $10 - they are very appealing to those looking for short term gains.

Well, I thought Litecoin was not a Bitcoin hardfork, I just found out. Where did you get this information?

Personally, I dont think there is going to be a DOWNFALL as such, it still has all the same elements it did when it was #3 it even has extra upgrades, its still current, its still being developed and used but from a speculative industry like the altcoin market it doesnt appeal to those looking to get rich quick. Yep, the top 50 Coinmarketcap and included in the old coin category can be said to be a superior coin because it is able to withstand the attacks of new and rampant altcoins that come quickly like a peanut harvest in the field.

with the exception of Solana, BNB and BCH everything is priced at less than $50, most less than $15, and almost everything listed after Litecoin is priced sub $10 - they are very appealing to those looking for short term gains.
I saw that Solana and BNB charts on Coinmarketcap were indeed below $10, but for BCH it seemed to be above $10, maybe because of the name BCH or Bitcoin Cash, the price is expensive. As far as I know, BCH is a hardfork from Bitcoin core. Cmiiw
