If we want to invest in a safe way, we must avoid to invest in too many coins. We must invest in few coins only, just choose the most recommended coins. Just ignore the random coins because the chance of a lose is too high in this type of coins. We also need to focus on old coins only because they have been proven for safe coins. You mentioned several types of altcoins which in my opinion have very high risks, even though you have said not to invest too much in several coins on the exchange, I prefer to invest in the four big coinmarketcaps such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB and Solana .

High risks if we do talk about low caps but we do know that new projects which does have that much better utility in compared into those old ones,then you would really be having those impressions that they could really be having a shot on overtaking those old ones. We've seen several flippings by new ones to those old ones. This is where other traders or investors would really be hunting down with those gems. This is why they would really be trying out their best on trying to search for those low caps because they do know that they could make big money
once they do hit up the right project.

It is not possible that old coins can be replaced by new coins because the old coin which included Bitcoin, ethereum, BNB, Solana and many more are so successful that other coins can become successful like these coins but no coin can ever replace these coins. We should have firm faith in our investment in old coins because if our trust decreases then our decision will also change as Bitcoin and Ethereum holders are successful because they have trust in them which help them to stay calm during market dump.

New coins are also successful but all of them are not able to give you profit therefore we should not compare new coins with old coins because old coins are successful and are becoming more successful but some new coins become worthless with sudden market changes.

I never dare to put all my hopes on altcoins because after all if the altcoin cannot rise then you will still lose while altcoins will be difficult to rise when their projects are not developing.

Although with some of the top altcoins this will also not maximize your profits maybe the top altcoins can only go up 5x when bullish when you expect altcoins with a 10x or 100x increase then it must be altcoins with low market capitalization while this is very prone to altcoins that cannot be pumped. Hodling altcoins is very risky because you might wake up one morning and your bag is on zero value. This is why most people do say that investing in tcoin is like gamble. Currently I don't see any new project that will be able to replace the old ones because the new ones might be created to scam people through pump and dump and we have seen many new projects that came out and didn't survive in the market for long. It is only if the old project fails that we might later see the new coin that will have the potential to replace the old ones. Only invest 10% of your total portfolio in altcoins.

        -   I really only base it on the marketcap, its daily volume, use case and coin, and the development of what it has in their roadmap, but often only two are fine with me, and that is the marketcap and its daily volume in the exchanges where it is listed.

Of course, when there are many traders doing activity, that means there is a demand for that coin, and in such a crypto, it is really good to invest. And hold it long-term, especially since it is still one of the top-listed altcoins.

Yes an investor needs to get a good idea about the project first. There are many new projects that have good fundamentals and there are many old projects that are depreciated in the long run. I was watching a news feed on the Binance exchange and saw several coins that they will delist because there is relatively no trading volume. So we can't definitely keep only old projects on long term hold. But if we consider more things and invest in top coins, especially Ether, Binance coins, then there is no possibility of losing these coins in the long term. Again Ton Coin has gained a credibility in recent times. Therefore, considering new or old coins in terms of holding, long-term investment in any coin with strong fundamentals increases the possibility of profit.
