So I guess the fault was from the complainer, well some of these clone sites are really hard to identify, maybe next time a little bit carefulness would go a long way. And credit to thormixer for the quick response they gave to the issue, this is exactly what builds trust and confidence on their service.

He may be a victim of phishing, and he used the fake Thormixer site.

What do you think of the proposal to update the first post and to enter inside the code tag list of known Thormixer phishing sites in the first post? It may not be a big deal, but if it saves money for at least one user, it can be considered successful. I've seen at some other mixers do something similar.

two weeks ago someone bought thormixer.com and now selling it for $2286.20, they may use it for scams in the future.

Man, thanks for providing the details. Although, in fact, I am convinced that you should have reported this in a PM, since scammers may perceive your detailed message as a call to action.

And that scam site is just 50 days old, when I check the whois info:

So that you know, the domain bio doesn't tell too much information except possibly how old it is. Even that doesn't have to be relevant because a serious market deals with aged domains. So buying a domain that was first registered 10 or more years ago is possible.
Also, almost every registrar offers free whois protection, so we can't draw any conclusions from that either.

Very good find, Thormixer representative already confirmed that it was the onion link from this clearnet clone that the user fell for, so i guess he was actually scammed and he's not a troll. It is very important that customers' bookmark the original website, a tiny error in spelling when typing it everytime can land one into a scam site. We'll continue to point this out to them and report these scam domains, no matter how small the benefit is.

Yes, I also agree that it's the clone where users are trapped by those scammers. Now it's proven that Thormixer.io is the real URL and tormixer.io is the fake one used to trap users. It's just a phishing clone and everyone should be careful from such shady phishing clones. Once again I would like to say that Thormixer.io is the legit site of Thormixer and any other domain is just a clone of phishing site.

Hi all, this is possibly my first comment here, and nothing serious though, just here to say that I am happy to join the Thormixer family as they promote their brand all over this forum, I've been seeing their signature ads around on the forum for a while (during the first round of their adverts), and today, I am happy to be part of the family.

I will later on visit the site, read up on all the informations there-in to get myself acquainted with all their services, and will also try mixing some bitcoins in the coming weeks, my experience and details review will be shared here of course.

Welcome, and I am here for the first time as well. When we promote a service, we should know what we are promoting and take a took. I am glad to see that Thormixer is growing over time. I am saying that because as you can see, there are a couple of clone reports. Scammers usually clone popular mixers so they can attract more users. Cloning Thorminer is proving that they are becoming popular every day and the scammer has to choose them. But, I don't think official team can do much about it except give a warning to their community and loyal users about it.
