I agree with you on that, because by buying up all the domains names will indeed reduce the possibility of site cloning in a great deal because if a user is careful there won't be any possibility of getting scammed by those scammers that creats similar sites to genuine ones.

I think this suggestion is a great one to the thormix team because as you mentioned KingsDen I cheaper getting all the package since the team already secured the most expensive among the domain's which is .com.

It would be more rational to register in all the popular zones that are on the rumor. At least 80% of Internet users are careless enough not to see the difference between .co and .com. These are the most frequent targets of phishing scammers and therefore the most frequent victims.
As I said earlier, it is impossible to predict all combinations.

Well, it is not possible to buy all the related domains but the few major ones. When I registered my business with the .com extension, I was offered the .org and .net extensions for a much cheaper price and I secured the other two. So, getting .com, .org, .net and .io at same time will not cost much. It will certainly not stop scam site but their options will be reduced as other unpopular extension names don't rank high in search engines.

I highly agree with that approach. Instead of buying all domain names where most of those are useless one should consider buying 70 domains of good and top TLDS as those can be purchased with less than $500 for a whole year and such a cost won't be high for a mixing service.

I guess that means having a 70%  damage control tool if those domains are secured from those phishing attackers, and if couple in addition to the users taking precautionary measures it will eliminate chances of getting into the wrong hand when looking for a mixer to use, and such popular and prominent mixers name forgery won't be easily used to carry out such scam games.

We have hard alot mixers closing their doors at customers face and that have given mixer some bad images before the government and that is why we seem a recent increase climb down on mixers by authorities.

Sorry but you are wrong and Learn Bitcoin is right actually, it is true that it's all about scammers trying to get some Satoshis, and will do anything for it, but then, also understand that scammers are very sensible people, they don't just go about cloning whatever product or service they find out there, they take their time to search for ones people are using the most, or most interested in, then they clone that service or product and then try to divert some of the users of that service or product to their own clone/phishing scam.

From what I've read on this board, there are actually some Thormixer clone flying around, scammers can never clone a service or product people rarely use or are interested in, because it will be to their loss, as they will hardly find victims.

The problem is that when launching a project, as a rule, the team does not consider all possible scam options on the network, focusing its efforts solely on promotion. And later, when faced with such a problem, they find out that cybersquatters and scammers have already registered this trademark in various domain zones.

Yep, you are right. Sometimes we make mistakes while writing the URL. So, I would like to believe that the scammers did the research before they picked the domain finance. Even if they would take ninance, that would be another good move even though we are thinking that no one would fall for such a nonsense scam. Look at the keyboard again and you will understand why I am saying this. Just a few weeks ago I was attacked by phishing. I was on the phone and did not notice the URL. My metamask was drained and the loss was around $200 to $300 maybe. I don't remember.

Yeah it is that simple, and after using the correct website, it is important to bookmark it. That's the mistake some people make, they do not bookmark it, instead they try to type it whenever they want to access the website, and they can easily land into a cloned site in that way.

I do not deny the point you have mentioned. But you have to keep in mind that the scammers do not really want to clone an unpopular website for an obvious reason. Think it like a customer, When you have good options like which is popular, take Thormixer for example, why would you use an unpopular platform? Which one you will prefer?

If you prefer Thormixer over some unpopular mixers, then you should know that those scammers will try hard to fool you even though you are going to use your favorite platform. Anyway, this is a debatable thing. You could be right with your points. I could be right as well. So, let's move forward.
