I agree with that. You don't need to be too fancy if you can satisfy your clients with your service. But fancy designs indeed attract users. However, this isn't a social media platform where the website makes money from visitors. Mixers are a kind of tool that people use for their privacy and when they need such a service. So, Thormixer focused on improving its service quality, not how it looks.

I remember using old chat forums where we used to chat, which had no colours, and that forum had an XML version, which was pretty neat and clean. I used another chatbox during the internet blackout, which was hosted on a local server.

Yes, it is possible to buy anonymous numbers for telegram registration, but telegram has become smart and can detect such numbers. I would not recommend doing such a thing as the mixing is not done instantaneously as it can take up to 6 hours. Although it gives more anonymity to go through such a process, it can be risky.

I think this is a good option to mix coins using Thormixer. And for others, they might like it and as long as complete anonymity is achieved every will be ok. However, there could be some of us who wanted to used the old way, clearnet or Tor will be our preferred method. Perhaps it was due though to Telegram becoming  one messaging apps that crypto users are likely to used as compare to others that made Thormixer or even some gambling platforms as well to go on this route.

I made the above comment on the risk of using a telegram app to mix coins because of my general and overall knowledge and experience with telegram and how scammers have utilised that avenue to create crisis in terms of the security of users' information.

Some scammer were not able to copy hamster combat does not really mean they won't be able to copy any other bots. Telegram mini-apps are build on external hosting and then the devs have to create a telegram bot and integrate their website with the bot. The mini-apps are just like browser of that website with some additional features. The website is embaded in telegram. That's it.

The reason scammer were not able to success their scam is, Hamster combat is too viral telegram telegram bot and they have collaborated with Telegram and maybe they are going to launch their token on Ton ecosystem. It's a verified project from Telegram. So, if you see any hasmter combat bot without the verification blue tick, it's a clone.

Now when it's comes to Thormixer, they won't submit any data to telegram to verify their telegram Bot because mixer services are supposed to be anonymous which they are. So, it does not make any sense to submit data to telegram to get verified.

I agree with you about this, Telegram cannot be used for this since it is not under the management of Thormixer, guaranteeing a sort of integrity becomes really difficult also because if I remember correctly, the code of the Telegram servers cannot be seen.

I am saying it would be safe or unsafe, But I am saying that it won't be an impossible thing to copy Thormixer mini-app because I don't think Thormixer will ever try to get verified from Telegram. There is another reason: all the bots you see on Telegram are based on Telegram and exclusively built just for Telegram. So, no matter what, they will have to work with Telegram.

But Thormixer isn't built exclusively for telegram. So, I want to believe Thormixer won't spend money on that as well. The only  way to stay unique is to get verified by Telegram.

There are advantages and disadvantages to all this, unfortunately.  Certainly not being particularly tied to a platform helps to be independent and remain safe, when instead you do everything exclusively for something you somehow tie yourself to its destiny which could go well but could go wrong.  Thormixer does well not to get too tied up.

😂 Lol, first, you don't have to be afraid to disagree with me, this is an open discussion forum and it's absolutely normal for each of us to disagree with each other sometimes, same way it's normal to agree too.

And to give a reply to your comment in general, I can categorically tell you that I spend not less than 10 to 12 hours everyday on telegram, and hamster kombat game on telegram mini app is just one of the very few app that are verified, there are hundreds I know, and possibly thousands that I don't know, that are not verified, and yet, they drive alot of traffic, they have millions, and tens of millions of users, and none of them have ever be cloned except hamster that they tried and the clone version got shut down immediately.

Anyways, I am not saying you are wrong, I am not arguing all that you have said, as a matter of fact, telegram mini apps is still a very new concept/feature that was only launched recently, we can only be sure about it's level of security after it has ran for maybe 2 to 5 years while hosting alot of successful projects.

I think you're right in that aspect, mixers give much priority to anonymity and privacy and thus getting verified on Telegram won't happen for Thormixer.

No mixer owner or team wants others to know about themselves or about their identity and by keeping that in mine I also agree that mixers won't every think to get verified on Telegram even if they can get many more orders with the help of Telegram.

However, there's chance that mixers can use Telegram and make their own mini apps which may be helpful for some users, and that thing doesn't pose any threats to a mixer's anonymity.

I agree since Hamster Kombat went viral those clone apps got reported by the community I guess to Telegram and that is why they were quickly removed. I do know that Telegram does have the ability to detect clone apps but generally, it is the community that does most of the reporting on Telegram.

Thormixer bot is not verified as I have checked it and for obvious reasons, they will never verify or submit user data. I feel using the bot is more private as Telegram is privacy-focused. The only drawback is that if someone clones the bot then it would be a problem.
