Anyways, I am not saying you are wrong, I am not arguing all that you have said, as a matter of fact, telegram mini apps is still a very new concept/feature that was only launched recently, we can only be sure about it's level of security after it has ran for maybe 2 to 5 years while hosting alot of successful projects.

I am glad that you agree with my point of view. Cloning account, Bot or even a mini-app is not that hard. The problem is, people won't be able to detect which one is the real one and which one is the fake one if there is no verified badge. So, This is the reason I says I always recommend and prefer to use the web version when it comes to using Mixers and exchanges.

Let say having an app is very different from giving data to Telegram, if I understand correctly, Telegram apps are in the cloud, so they pass through Telegram and are not from Telegram and among other things you dont even have to do KYC if you think about it carefully

I would be very careful with using Telegram, and the bots on it. I got the impression that it is much harder to recognize a fake telegram bot than to recognize a phishing site.

Thus, you would have to limit your wife's access to the phone, and such behaviour can cause completely different suspicions. You will be accused of cheating on your wife, when in fact you are just hiding Bitcoin

A browser exposes a lot of things about the website, the domain name, the certificate it is using, etcetera and you can also use extensions to help with the aforementioned, but on Telegram you are stuck with just the username of the bot to check since everything else can be faked. And even that is subject to punycode.

Thanks for the update as I was not aware that another mixer does have such a Telegram bot for mixing. Still, I think Thormixer is far better on multiple levels as I have tried the Telegram bot. It is time for me to come up with a review of the Telegram bot as most reviews here on this thread are about their website.

It would be good to see feedback from someone who has used a mixing bot. I guess it's easy and quick to use, but I'm still sceptical about any TG bots.

Haha really Husires because at some point hiding your balance from your wife is kind of bigger laziness because she should have access to your funds and you also to her funds, in case you kiss the world goodbye unexpectedly.

Like I think I have mentioned on one of my comments in the past, the ability to run web apps on telegram is a brand new concept and at the moment, it's hard to determine how high or low (in terms of privacy) using those web apps on telegram offers to users.

But on my own personal opinion at the moment, I would say that for those who really care and want maximum privacy, it's better for the them to use the world wide web rather than use the telegram version of the site.
Doing this atleast, gives the user the assurance of their privacy based in the service itself.

I agree with you, at current times it's better to go with the web route instead of going with the Telegram mini app route. Btw, Telegram as also launched some kind of decentralized web domain extension like Xyz.Ton that can be accessed via Telegram app.

If I'm not wrong then Telegram has created a type of in-app browser that helps users to visit those sites. If such sites preserve the concept of privacy and are totally decentralized then surely mixers and other privacy related sites may consider that in future.

Yes, that information is very useful to be honest, it's one that comes in very handy for just when one wants to mix some bitcoin but is confused as to not knowing the best mixer to choose/use.

But then, it's also very good that almost all the mixers are trying their best to look attractive to prospective customers, through and by offering features that makes them respectively unique from each other, this gives users the ease of choosing which is best for them based on their respective preferences.

The reason that I highlighted is why I have bookmarked that thread. A comparison thread with all the right information is helpful to anyone who is searching to get an answer to his/her query. There was a time when such threads were jewels of BTT as of now it is highly unlikely that we would come across such threads. I also want to urge the respected community members and those part of Thormixer's signature campaign to create a thread which is a tutorial on how to use a mixer. I think that would be very helpful for anyone new to mixing as most users on this thread have only posted reviews but none have posted tutorials. I may be wrong but I haven't seen any tutorials as to how to use the mixer platform.
