I just don't understand at all how, for example, a new user would want to use the Telegram bot at the first place. Even in order to find out about its existence, you need to read about it, and you will not find a better source for this than the official website. And if the user visits the site and sees that mixing process can be done on the site itself, what reasons does he find to use the Telegram bot?

It's possible due to, and out of curiosity.
Some one who visits the site and he or she is not new to mixing bitcoin through a website, and finding out on Thormixer's website that it's possible for him to enjoy a new experience of mixing his or her bitcoin through telegram using a dedicated telegram bot that is programed by Thormixer to carry out such task.
Such user may out of curiosity want to try that since it's completely new to him or her, this is how most people get to learn new things and stuffs, trying new ways of doing something rather than stick to the old fashion or traditional way of doing that thing.

I think you aren't mistaken as I've also noticed that Thormixer is the only mixer that has a telegram bot which users can use to mix their Bitcoin without directly visiting the site of Thormixer. Most mixers will never offer such bot and there are those privacy enthusiasts who may also avoid Telegram bots due to low privacy. However, it's really a good feature for the users who use Telegram because they can easily mix their Bitcoin even by staying at their Telegram.

It will be up to them if they want to keep their bot operational. But, I feel like we should let them know what is happening. I want to believe that Thormixer won't continue their service on Telegram if they know about recent development.

I saw other mixer services using telegram bots so I don't think Thromixer is the only mixer, but I am not sure who was the first to use it.
Background that is performing mixing is staying the same, there is nothing special that telegram servers are doing, except saving IP's and addresses.

Thank you very much. But I am good, and I believe you. So, I am not going to check their telegram bot. I have opened my Telegram account with my real phone number, which I use every day. So, I will avoid engaging in anything that may be forbidden by the government. Even though the entire crypto industry is banned in my country, they do not take everything seriously. However, the Bitcoin mixer is something the government does not like at all for obvious reasons. I am unsure if Thormixer knows about the recent changes, but it is okay if they want to keep their bot operational. I will avoid that.

For someone who just wants to protect his privacy and doesn't have any coins that he acquired illegally, even mixing through Telegram bot can be an option. The authorities will certainly not waste time on such users, but are primarily interested in hackers or terrorists who, with the help of such services, want to hide the traces of the coins they mix.

However, in light of all recent events, I do not consider Telegram to be a safe means of communication for those who value their privacy.

Thanks for explaining in detail but personally I haven't seen Telegram bot on other mixers and that's why I said that thing. I've seen it on Thormixer only and that's why I said that in my post. Now, it's clear that the bot is part of Jambler's offer for their partners and surely Thormixer is one of those partners, and hopefully if I'm not wrong then it's available on Thormixer only but if it's available on other mixers then please share it as it might be helpful information.

Well, I too fall in the same category as you, I've known Thormixer to be the only mixer with a mixing bot on telegram, but since I wasn't so very sure, I had to make my statement appear like it's a question.

I've known about jambler from the other forum, but I've never really gone into a detailed reading of their services. So, just like you, I am also just learning that a bitcoin mixing telegram bot is part of their offer to their partners, but this still leaves me with a question which is born out of curiosity by the way, and the question is..

We know that jambler have alot of bitcoin mixer partners, why  is all other partner not taking advantage or utilizing their bitcoin mixing telegram bot offer? Why is Thormixer the only mixer that decided to utilize that offer? Because so far, I still recognize Thormixer as the only bitcoin mixer with a mixing bot on telegram minusing jambler..

In fact, if I remember correctly, there was also a telegram bot from Mixtum mixer. But there were some problems with it, I wrote that I couldn't move past the "start" button back when there was an active campaign on Bitcointalk. It seems to me that this problem has not been fixed, but in any case I trust official sites more than bots in Telegram, so I did not raise this issue further.

They don't have all their partner mixer services listed on website.
I know that because I asked them similar question about different mixer and that is the answer I received back than.
Maybe they are showing optionally only services that agreed to be listed on Jambler website.

Honestly it doesn't make much of a difference for most people, including me.
Someone who wants to find the true information wil not have much problem to find that Thromixer has connection with Jambler, and it's not that hard to find that with addresses, letter of guarantee and other things.
Finally, it's up to the Jambler what they want to add on their website.

I guess, it's good for the mixer but I believe Thormixer don't want to state their links with Jambler and wants to perform their operations as an independent mixing platform. I believe they've already got enough good users who use their platform and that's why including any relations with Jambler isn't a priority for them.
