Isn't it good for the mixer? This should add extra credibility for the mixer , using a reliable service to take care of the mixing.

I guess, it's good for the mixer but I believe Thormixer don't want to state their links with Jambler and wants to perform their operations as an independent mixing platform. I believe they've already got enough good users who use their platform and that's why including any relations with Jambler isn't a priority for them.

I am pretty sure Jambler would like to be as discreet as possible. After all, it is the only service I know of where you can get certified clean bitcoins, they certainly make an eye-watering amount of money from their partners, and I'm pretty sure there are a lot of law enforcement officers hell-bent on taking down more mixers, as we saw with Chipmixer, Sinbad and Samourai Wallet (which is not even a mixer) from before.

Whereas if a mixer website goes down, it's not much of a big deal, but if the hydra goes down, it's game over for mixing. We lose almost all the mixers on BitMixList.org.

And thinking from the other angle, we can all agree that the mixing business In crypto today have become a very competitive one, and a mixer publicly associating itself with a bigger mixing platform, could also lead to the mixer losing some of her clients to bigger mixing platform they associated with.
People like to experiment and compare, and let's assume that jambler is the platform that powers Thormixer and several other mixers around, this means that part of the fees client pay to Thormixer goes to jambler, if this be the case, there is no need for Thormixer to put jambler forward as that could mean promoting jambler to her(Thormixer) clients when she(Thormixer) is still looking for more clients.

If I remember correctly, on Btt where Jambler had a representative, I asked a similar question and the answer was that there are mixers that are not listed as partners on the Jambler page, although they are. This is at their ^mixers request and they want to appear as independent as possible.

And also if the mixer is too small to be noticed by Jambler but still processes say a few orders per day, then it's not going to be on the list, but then again it will be harder to trust a new mixer without any track record lest it just disappear overnight (see what happened to Frogmixer, Royalmix) and even long-standing mixers are not immune to just vanishing (Unijoin, Tumbler).

Yes, Thormixer is an autonomous service, they do fine by their own. Their campaign is pretty well-known here in the forum, as well as in other platforms. Connection with Jambler could be seen as an extra advantage, but Thormixer definitely has many of his own. It doesn't depend on some external service.

Why would you say that?
I am sure something new would emerge in case if that happens, new services and marketplaces are going up and down all the time.
They are trying to crack down everything but I dont think mixers will be gone any time soon, maybe they change how they operate.

Maybe where the whole idea of exchanger will materialize. I know that in few years time, mixers will have a new way to operate. But I think such new ways are not without concerns. It's just simple;

Mixers are simple a tool which scramble your coins with other ones.

There have been some successful coinjoin solutions which work similar to a mixer but are decentralized, I believe the most successful one is tomato cash that runs in ethereum.  Maybe in the future some similar solution will work in bitcoin, in a way users will be safe to use it in a trustless environment. Coinjons aren't 100% trustless yet AFAIK

Everything here largely depends on the jurisdiction of a particular mixer. I also think they will continue to exist because there is demand for them, and their services are becoming increasingly sought after.

However, governments will put pressure on them. Fighting against these restrictions will require resources from the mixers, especially time. During this period, they may focus more on bureaucratic and legal matters rather than on service development and working with clients, which could negatively impact the performance of the product itself. Therefore, those mixers jurisdiction of which was initially more favorable will benefit the most

Well, I don't really know or not so sure, but I honestly don't consider Unijoin and Tumbler long standing mixers since non of this mixers lasted or operated for a year or more.

I knew Unijoin had a signature campaign running on the other forum before the ban, while tumbler just finished their round one and two review campaigns and was preparing to launch their signature campaign before the ban on mixers, both of this mixers didn't operate for up to a year before their disappearance.

And this actually one prayer I pray every day, that such fate does not befall our dear Thormixer, and every other legit mixers successfully running at the moment.

Although they did not announce the reasons for exiting the market, we all assume why it happened. I'm pretty sure if there weren't certain 'SEC' events some of them would still be operational.

That's true without any doubt, Thormixer is still operational without any issues and that's enough to show that how reliable mixer it is. Although we all know that there were strict actions taken by SEC against all mixing platforms and that was the read why Bitcointalk banned mixers and because of the same reason many mixers quit providing their services but it's great to see mixers like Thormixer and a few other mixers still providing their privacy enhancement services and that's an awesome thing.

Funny enough, months back when Icopress listed a couple of mixers for campaign which included Thormixer, Royalmix and I think with one other. I conducted a little research and used the mixers. I was just convinced that Thormixer will last longer than the others. In as much as I want to receive some weekly bucks writing in this forum, I wouldn't be comfortable promoting a shady project that will open today, scam a few BTC tomorrow and shutdown.
I didn't even know why I believed Thormixer, it's either because of the simplicity of their site design and easy use or I just trusted my instinct.

I don't know why, but whenever I see a mixer service disappear without letting its users know that they are going to stop providing their service, I always think it's an exit scam and they never had good intentions. I never managed to understand how mixers get seized by the Government and what technology they used to seize those mixers and arrest the owners of these platforms. I always felt like most of them are just exit scam and some of them were seized by the authorities.

Mixers make money, and they should spend enough money to secure their own privacy first, and then provide privacy to their users. I remember I saw a mixer end their service and recommended using XMR before they ended their service. I appreciate that they informed people that they are going to end their service.
