Nigeria loss this Rwanda game because there was an agreement between the two teams. Because Super Eagles have already qualified so they have to loss this game so that Rwanda will also qualify. And if really Rwanda and Nigeria football association did that the. Rwanda would pay a big amount of money to Nigerian Super Eagles and the money would be shared among themselves.

Do they still apply this mentality to football? That is local football, which I don't think it exists again. This is Rwanda's first victory over the Super Eagles, so it was really sad to me as Rwanda broke the records. I don't think the Super Eagles lost because they had an agreement, but because of their poor performance. How much will Rwanda pay the Super Eagles for losing the game to them? And still Rwanda didn't qualified even if that were the case, Nigeria and Benin were the one qualified from the group.

Well the only thing I will use to believe that the game was not compromised was the part that as Super Eagles loss the game, Rwanda didn't qualify for the AFCON. But there is a very big allegation from Libya that Nigeria loss the game so that Libya would not qualified in the AFCON and if really what Libya said is the truth then what Nigeria did was wrong. In football let the strong team qualify to play the main matches and not taking bribe to qualify some times which would not qualified.

What Libya said is not far from the truth. Personally I don't have confidence on the Super Eagles in this forthcoming AFCON tournament but we can't judge them for now. Let them survive from the group stage to the knockout stage because at the knockout stage we will know who is who.

Among all Morocco is my alternative Team in this tournament. I strongly believe that Nigeria will not go a long way and others if they escape the group then they will have lucky. Though they are still my number one team in the tournament.

That's truth, host nations usually benefit from the full support of their supporters, and to be honest, that support is very helpful. I recall from last year's AFCON how the crowd of ivory coast fans affected the Super Eagles in the final, which they didn't even play as if they were playing in the final.

In my prediction Morocco is the clear favorite to win this AFCON, not because of fans, but because of their style of play, and if they can exert the same level of effort as they did in the previous World Cup the AFCON must surely be theirs. Morocco last won the AFCON in 1976, so I believe they will prepare well for it.

I've never seen this type of incompetent and corrupt list of best IX in my life how does it make sense that the best Goalkeeper of the year for both National team and club is not on the best African best IX? Onana isn't even the second best on the continent so how does he made it ahead of Williams and how can you be the best of the year and not included him in the Best IX?

Is Victor Osimhen even supposed to be there? He didn't do anything spectacular last season for nation and club, I can name more than 3 players better than him in that position currently.

He had few moments but he missed a lot of chances and wasn't at his best during the whole tournament, he's a big player with a lot of PR and that's another reason Onana was also added to that list after his terrible season for both clubs and country..

Lookman did all the work, Osimhen was only taking the credit because of his huge influence and his large fan Base in Nigeria

The NFF must also address the issue of appointing a better manager before the next AFCON tournament. The current interim coach hasn't done anything to deserve permanent appointment.

I don't understand your point here because what is the target that you are expecting a world class striker like oshimen to meet again the fact is that oshimen is only one player so he can't possibly do everything for the super Eagles one thing you have to know is that the players surrounding oshimen matters a lot because when the right players are not around even the best of players the player is definitely not going to do well because we have different setup in his club and in the super Eagles team,
So victor oshimen is still one of the best players in the world and he has no target to prove as his records are there

How I wish that Victor Boniface could begin to deliver and live up to his name like Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen. It would be good that the competition for who to play striking for the Super Eagles increase so that Victor Osimhen does not get too relaxed in that position. Before the next AFCON, there are definetly some other players that can be scoited into the team especially in the midfield.

What you said is the truth. The thread I created for NPFL is in this forum but nobody is making comments there. And I was looking for the thread before I see this one.

Sorry for that and the few Africans that here are not interested to discuss African Nations Cup here but they are actively in the other forum. On Tuesday Nigeria Super Eagles and Zimbabwe will play and from look of things Zimbabwe might not qualified in this world Cup. And if Nigeria win this game then they are gone. South Africa has taken over the leader from Benin Republic because Benin Republic instead of winning their game on Thursday last week with Zimbabwe, they drew with them with 2-2 Drew. But even at that they won't qualify unless they win Nigeria. And Nigeria as it is now is struggling to also qualify so it will not be easy for them to win Nigeria Super Eagles.
