There are some profitable small capital businesses in my area-
1. Floating food stalls on the side of the road, which we know as street food. Where a lot of tempting food is sold, which is seen by many buyers. In this business you can earn $25-$30 by investing $100 regularly.
2. Floating shops of lemonade during summer. In this business you need $20-$25 as capital and you can earn $10-$15 with this capital.
3. Boat trips during monsoons. People in the urban areas of our area like boats a lot. During the rainy season, when the rivers and canals are full of water, a lot of money can be earned by taking tourists on a boat. In this case you need to have a boat as capital.

There are many other such businesses that you can do for some time with less capital.

I have to give as example here in my community , back in the days small convenience stores is rarely to find , I mean in each streets maybe you can only find one or 2 stores , but not now as you can imagine neighbors of 5 have same product of selling?

and sad part is their store is next to each other , how can they have profit  when each of them have almost the same type of product?
there is no originality and they are only wasting time and effort , this is why i put my business far  from my house so at least  i can have my own costumer and product.

Yeah same here in my place, I think only one variety store here or two are consistent while others are not due to the fact that they are all having the same goods and services without even spending time and effort to improvise and that is I think the reason why some fail and the other reason is the price which is not competitive and I don't even tried to buy again because of that I prefer to buy at fair grocery stores with reasonable prices.

The demand surely is increasing, but the question is "Will the supply cope up with the rising demand?"

Food business is a good business idea, but in order for it to become a successful one, there are some factors that food business owners must understand. Things like the location, the management, etc. I just made a quick google search though, and it turns out that 20% of food businesses failing during their first year. 30% are failing in the first 3 years, and 50% are failing in the first 5 years.

Food business might be a good business, but also take note the competition around that's why location is always a big factor when it comes to the success of the business.

Hello guys, so I was thinking just about the best profitable business that anyone can engage in, depending on the country in which they find themselves. There are a lot of people on this forum from different countries all over the world, and as we are from different countries, we have different policies and rules that govern business.

In my country, you can just start some kind of mini business with less capital, and some of those businesses can be very profitable. Businesses such as:

1: selling of cold bottles or sachets of water: In my country, it's usually very hot during the dry season, so if you engage in this business during that period, you will make a lot of profit. So, if you are in a country that experiences a very hot season, you can make use of the opportunity to enter into such a temporary business.

2: mini grocery shop: every day of our lives, we spend on a few things at the grocery shop, so if you are doing a grocery business in a good location, you will definitely be selling more often and making a profit.

3: food business: Every day of our lives, we eat. That's to tell you that there is usually high demand for food items, so if you are actually doing a food business, you will definitely sell and make a profit.

Find something the people there are in need of but can't get, start selling these items and don't worry about anyone trying to start a competition with you because you must have already built a good networking and customer base

But it’s unfortunate that manny people do not really understand the concept of business, some people think it’s by doing what works for others, but they forget that their approach and strategy may differ from your own and when you delve into the same line of business, you either end up in losses or they don’t make as much profit as the next person, because they lack both the expertise and the strategy to make the business thrive.
Business should be about meeting the needs of the people around a particular location through rendering a particular service or goods and not just about doing what the next person is doing. Business is also about having a vision. Behind every thriving business is a vision, because a business without a vision isn’t likely to go far.
