I agree with you, we should not buy new coins because of the hype, but because of their usefulness to users and what benefits they can provide in the next few years. It's true that not all new coins always rely on hype, but that's almost the majority. Even though some have good fundamentals.

Without doubtful coins there are also a large number of other coins which just provide you profit so instead of putting your money in doubtful Investment you have to choose top coins which you can continue by skipping negative thoughts.

We know already anything altcoin is gambling and for that when choosing any of them it is better they are reliable than not, or like you say memecoin is way cheaper so anyone who is holding memecoin can easily buy with their spare money such as 30$ or maximum $100 depending on how they can accept their risk level.
