At the moment I think the old coin may be the best. This year every investor is trying to avoid new coins. Because the number of scammers in the market is increasing, the possibility of new coins being fake is high. So invest in old coins, they have less risk and higher returns.

Frankly speaking, all altcoins are garbage now. And unfortunately even Litecoin, which was a great way to send cryptocurrency with a low commission. Old coins are the best crypto coins to invest with and is better to invest in them and have patient than for you to invest in a new shitcoin that will make you lose your money, some people feel old coins are very slow in growth and new coins are fast in growth is not true Bitcoin is very fast in it's growth and is doing very well I know a lot of people who has lost there money in new coins, a lot of all this new coins are scam and should not be trusted.
Bitcoin is an old coin in fact the first crypto currency to be created and it has helped in growing the economy of the world and has also made a lot of people rich, and I still don't know why some people believe old coins are slow in it's growth, cryptocurrency is not a Ponzi scheme were you can just start investing and in the next two weeks or a week start making millions cryptocurrency investment takes time to grow and that is just the time old coins are taking, a lot of people especially newbies have been deceived to believe that new coins grow more fast but at the end of the day they will lose their money in it.

Some old coins that have reputation can still be relied on, coins like ETH, BNB, SOL, and others, but some coins that were striving to survive in the past didn't worth holding because they can go backward than expectation. Moreover, exchanges native coins like MX, KCS, and others also worth holding because as long as Bitcoin price goes up, and other coins follow the suit, these coins will also move provided their respective exchanges are still active.

New projects of these days are scary, they do come with just onetime profit to their early investors and leave late and greedy investors in lost because once Bitcoin price go down, they always find it difficult to recover on time.

Immediate profit should also be taken from altcoins investment because a person will not regret if the coin drops down or completely loses its value but I think ignoring the little profit in case of Bitcoin is not full of hazards because everyone knows that Bitcoin will attain such value or more higher value in future but if someone is taking little profit then it is also not a bad idea.

This is what I do, I sell my coins when the price goes up or reaches ATH and then I will buy back when there is a correction. I choose this strategy because long term holding seems to be less profitable, this is my opinion. I prefer medium term investment
