Why aren't cryptocurrencies successful as a medium of payment

Cryptocurrency is not meeting its full potentials as medium of payment because it has got some few setbacks which until it has been solved, will continue to hinder the increase in cryptocurrency usage. Governmental and media attacks are major factors which wards off a lot of people from using cryptocurrency.

Yes, the only barrier right now is Government and media. But this is going to be solved gradually. As we see the Government of some major countries is interested in cryptocurrency now.Like (USA, JAPAN, KOREA, CHINA, Russia etc). So, this is the green signal for the cryptocurrency.
Media is our friend and on the other hand can be a misleader. Not all media is going to spoil cryptocurrency. Those who can't take benefit from it, do spoil by the fake modified news.

After all, I want to give thanks to those media and government who know the actual value of crypto and support it.

It is as the industry matures (a very young branch of) stillkeep in mind that a banker will take 10 times higher fee then if it would be a computer processing and validating the transaction so do not worry we alredy can see stable coins due to accusations of volatality and the token becomes a sort of a share in a company ....

The government and media has always been against crypto and untill this issue is solved, we cannot use crypto as our means of payment.

There are other things that make crypto decline enthusiasts in this year. telnologi in crypto especially blockchain is still vulnerable to hackers who steal crypto user assets. hopefully in the future there are changes to blockchain technology to make it safer to invest in crypto.

and even though in one country there is inflation but Bitcoin will not feel the impact of the Inflation (this is the advantage of having Bitcoin).

Although crypto currency can be use as a payment method but firstly it is more complicated than normal digital payment and even for digital payment maybe the youngsters will adopt it but for senior people some of them does not even use it.

the first thing that becomes a problem is the public understanding of crypto is very little and there are still many misunderstandings about crypto. the government is also not fully supportive and the banking or other financial companies are also very opposed to crypto and they think that crypto could harm and take over their business.
