I changed the interval of karma notification in 1 hour for the reason that it affect my servers at the recent downtime for some reason, it is lessen now. So expect of longer receiving karma notification and receives more than 1 karma if ever you receive mor karma in that 1 hour interval.

Maybe you have run out of server resources.
One hour interval is long time period but if this is only for karma notification that is acceptable.
It is more important to have faster notifications when someone mentions or tag me in post.

Resources is not a problem, i guess it's more like the hosting service itself and also the CPU usage. This change will be temporary only as i see it's effective than before which is 10 mins interval, i may change it little by little in the the new few days for testing.

I don't think there is anything to worry about, at least not when it comes from this Altt bot.
My Telegram also went wild, I got several notifications for the same post.

I assume that this is part of this "planned" testing

Resources is not a problem, i guess it's more like the hosting service itself and also the CPU usage. This change will be temporary only as i see it's effective than before which is 10 mins interval, i may change it little by little in the the new few days for testing.

Nothing to worry about I think, it's a general issue, I also came online this night and while I opened my telegram app, I saw around 35 notification alerts from the bot, I wondereed for a second what is happening on the forum, why have such a huge number of mentions? I asked myself and to be more honest, I pannicked for a minute.

But I opened the bot notification and saw that each notification came in like 6 or 7 times In a row, seeing that, I sighed a sigh of relieve, knowing that the bot must have been bugged, I want believe that PX-Z is already working on a fix.

Had similar experience as well but in my own case it was much more than 35  in a row from different posts which got me nervous wondering what was happening.  You could imagine having such huge numbers of posts on your notification from this platform and would be like you have committed an offence that needs your immediate attention to come explain yourself but I was a bit calm when I checked in and it was not what I thought was happening. I believe by now the issue must have been sorted out by  PX-Z.

Apologize for the inconvenience i was working with something and i uploaded the file that is not ready yet. This issue must be fixed now, last time i saw multiple mention was 05/09 and started on 05/04 based on my logs.

Feel free to send an issue/problem here to those who encounter such notification beyond 05/09

And I will suggest that if you can able to switch more better host that will be great for forum users.

My bot is much simpler. But for people who doesn't use telegram, and while px-z bot is offline, it will work!

So i will try to migrate the backup data from another instance, it might take days for me to do it. Or i will request everyone to register their usernames again if ever it takes more days to complete.

For the meantime bitmover's version of notification bot is really helpful.

This is really a sad news! Hope they will received back the storage even then we are hoping that you will choose a good host for running the website and bot.
